What the Terms Say
As flagged in the badge: no Bigpoint terms clause naming account sales was verified in the material checked for this guide, and none is quoted. The category page itself is the record of what an account sale is here: the buyer receives the account, and its value sits in what the account holds.
PlayerAuctions’ own copy names the value drivers precisely: top-tier ships (Goliath Plus and Solace in its list), Prometheus lasers, maxed drones (Apis and Zeus), stacks of Uridium and credits, PET-10 progression, and ranks running to Colonel and General — with reviews naming Uridium-stacked accounts in the same terms. Every one of those is an account attribute, not a deliverable good: none of it can be transferred off the account that earned it, which is why the market is accounts or nothing.
The Official Routes
Officially, a DarkOrbit account is built, not bought: ships, lasers, drones and Uridium are earned or purchased inside the game on your own account, and the game is still officially maintained — its board carries Dev Notes October 2026 covering client improvements already live. The verified outside shelf is PlayerAuctions’ accounts category: 12 offers at our check (a crawl six weeks earlier showed 23 — the shelf moves), $31 to $230, all on 12-hour delivery under PlayerGuardian escrow. No second vendor was verified: the Eldorado leg claimed in older material surfaced no category page in this pass.
What Can Go Wrong
- Recovery follows the original owner. An account sale is a credential transfer: the seller hands over the login under escrow, but the account’s history, bindings and recovery paths were created by the seller. Change every credential at handover and verify the account in game before escrow releases.
- Value is a stack of specifics, each checkable. Ships, Prometheus lasers, maxed Apis/Zeus drones, PET-10, rank and banked Uridium are all visible in game. A listing that names them but will not be verified in game before release is asking you to pay for a description.
- Wrong game, real risk. DarkOrbit and Dark War: Survival sit one search apart and share nothing — different publishers, different products (accounts here; a LOGIN-delivery Ruby top-up there). Check the game named on the category page before anything else.
- An ageing game prices on nostalgia and stock. DarkOrbit is operating and maintained, but its account market is a veteran economy: prices reflect rarity of built accounts more than any live-service growth, and the shelf count moves between crawls.
Red Flags to Avoid
- “Uridium delivery” or currency offers for DarkOrbit — the verified market is whole accounts; Uridium moves only with its account.
- Listings under the wrong game’s name, or sellers who blur DarkOrbit into Dark War: Survival.
- Ship, laser, drone or Uridium claims the seller will not verify in game before escrow releases.
- A second-vendor price quoted from a shelf nobody could surface at our check.
- Deals moved off PlayerAuctions’ escrow into chat.
Buying Checklist
- Confirm the game first: DarkOrbit (Bigpoint), accounts category — not Dark War: Survival.
- Verify in game before escrow releases: the ships (Goliath Plus, Solace class), Prometheus lasers, drone state (Apis/Zeus, maxed or not), PET-10, rank, and the banked Uridium and credits.
- Take the full login transfer at handover and change the password and linked details the same day.
- Benchmark within the live shelf — 12 offers, $31 to $230 at our check — and expect the count to differ when you look.
- Keep payment inside PlayerGuardian escrow and keep the order records.
The Safe Alternatives
A DarkOrbit account’s value is accumulated play — ships, drones and Uridium built over time — and the road is walked in our leveling guide, with the earning side in the farming guide. If you do buy, the escrowed shelf at least lets you verify every named asset in game before the money moves. See the DarkOrbit page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you buy DarkOrbit Uridium separately?
Not on any verified shelf. The verified market is whole accounts — Uridium has value as part of the account that banked it, alongside its ships, lasers and drones. A “Uridium delivery” offer is outside the verified market’s shape.
How much do DarkOrbit accounts cost?
PlayerAuctions listed 12 account offers at our October 2026 check, $31 to $230 in the category’s own product data, all on 12-hour delivery under PlayerGuardian escrow. An earlier crawl showed 23 offers — the shelf moves, so read it live.
What makes a DarkOrbit account valuable?
Its built assets, per the category copy: top-tier ships such as Goliath Plus and Solace, Prometheus lasers, maxed drones (Apis and Zeus), PET-10 progression, ranks to Colonel and General, and stacks of banked Uridium and credits. Every item on that list is verifiable in game before escrow releases.
Is DarkOrbit the same game as Dark War: Survival?
No — different games, different publishers, different markets. DarkOrbit’s verified market is escrowed whole accounts. Dark War: Survival’s only verified wire is a LOGIN-delivery Ruby top-up, covered on its own page with its own warning.
