What the Publisher Says
The Flyff Universe team has warned players directly about what it calls Real Market Trading. In its official warning it says that kind of trading is harming the game economy and driving Penya inflation, that cases will be investigated and acted on promptly, and that selling game items or accounts for real money is against the Terms of Service. The warning adds that doing so may lead to immediate termination not only for the seller, but also for the member who acquired the items or account.
The Terms themselves, published on universe.flyff.com for Wemade Connect, back that warning in several places. Section 4.1 says Virtual Money and Virtual Goods should be bought only from the publisher or a store it uses, not from any other third party. Section 4.5 says transfers of Virtual Money or Virtual Goods outside the Services, and real-world sales of anything from the Services, are not recognised unless expressly authorised, are prohibited and void, and may subject an account to termination. Section 5.5(j) separately bars selling or trying to sell an account or any part of it, including Virtual Money or Virtual Goods, and section 7.2 treats a breach of section 5.5 as a material breach subject to immediate termination. Section 7.1 also reserves the right to suspend or delete an account without refunds or compensation.
No Official Penya Sale, and How Third Parties Deliver
There is no official way to buy Penya itself. Flyff Universe is free to play and financed by its in-game store, and coverage of that store notes that it sells cosmetic items, consumables and equipment enchantments, but not Penya or weapons. Penya is the earned currency of the game: it is spent in player shops and on NPC goods, upgrades and consumables, and larger amounts are handled as Perin. Official spending therefore buys store items, not a Penya balance, and section 4.1 leaves no authorised third-party Penya shop.
Third-party sellers fill that gap in two visible ways. PlayerAuctions lists Flyff Universe Penya with face-to-face delivery, where the seller meets your character in game at an agreed time and place on a named server, and with in-game mailbox delivery for smaller orders. Other sellers describe the older Flyff Penya trade the same way, delivered by in-game mail so the buyer does not have to be online, and Flyff Universe listings on IGGM also show In Game Mail as the delivery method. Either way the transfer is a normal trade or mail inside the game, on a specific server such as Lawolf, Mia, Glaphan, Totemia or Mushpoie — which is exactly the kind of transfer the Terms say can be traced and punished.
What Can Go Wrong
- Termination of both accounts. The official warning and sections 4.5, 5.5 and 7.2 put the buyer at risk as well as the seller, with no refund or compensation promised if an account is deleted.
- No support for a void trade. Because section 4.5 calls outside transfers prohibited and void, the publisher has no reason to restore Penya, items or money if a seller delivers and the trade is later reversed or investigated.
- Inflated, unstable supply. The team links real-money trading to Penya inflation, so large cheap stocks can be farmed, exploited or otherwise tainted supply whose price and availability swing sharply by server.
- Bought accounts stay recoverable. Account sales are barred by the same rules, and the original registrant usually holds the email and creation details support will ask for, so a bought Flyff account can be taken back.
Red Flags to Avoid
- Any claim that Penya is “legal on all servers” or “ban-proof”: the official warning says the opposite.
- Sellers who need your Flyff Universe login, email password or verification codes to deliver; face-to-face trade and in-game mail need only a character name and server.
- Prices far below other sellers on the same server, especially for very large amounts on seasonal servers such as FWC.
- Payment only by crypto, gift cards or friends-and-family transfer, with no order record.
- Pressure to return Penya or items to the delivery character after a trade, a known marketplace scam pattern PlayerAuctions warns buyers never to agree to.
If You Decide to Go Ahead

If you still buy, confirm the exact server and delivery method before paying, never share your login, use a marketplace with buyer protection and a payment method you can dispute, start small, and keep the order, chat and delivery records. Lower-Risk Alternatives
Earn Penya in game instead: kill monsters for loot and Penya, sell unneeded drops such as power dice and upgrade scrolls to other players or NPCs, and take side quests, as IGGM’s farming summary describes. Spend official money only in the in-game store on the cosmetics, consumables and enchantments it actually sells, and use player shops and Perin to handle larger in-game purchases. That keeps every Penya you hold inside the transfers the game itself permits.
