What X-Legend Says
Grand Fantasia is developed and now published by X-Legend Entertainment. Its Terms of Service, last updated March 13, 2020, deal with gold directly in section 3: Virtual Money is defined to include gems, diamonds, coins, gold coins and points, and section 3.1 says you will only purchase Virtual Money and Virtual Goods from X-Legend or a third-party store used by it, and not from any other unauthorized third parties.
Section 3.3 says purchased Virtual Money and Virtual Goods may not be transferred in any way, including by transaction, gift or exchange for real money. Section 3.5 goes further: X-Legend prohibits and does not recognize real-world sales, gifts or trades of anything originating in its services unless expressly authorized, calls such a transfer “prohibited and void”, and says it may subject your account to termination.
The account and breach rules widen the exposure. Section 2 bars sharing login information or transferring your account without prior consent, and section 7 says that for a breach X-Legend may restore your game data to the status before the breach and terminate your right to use the game. In plain terms, bought gold can be rolled back as well as punished.
Which Version, and How Delivery Works
That rule matters more because the Western game has changed hands and names. Aeria Games published Grand Fantasia in the West, with Aeria Points (AP) as the currency used to purchase virtual items for Aeria games. Gamigo closed the Aeria portal at the end of February 2023 and transferred Grand Fantasia to X-Legend, its developer (MassivelyOP), and X-Legend later relaunched the global version as Grand Fantasia: ORIGIN, released on Steam on September 2, 2024 (SteamDB). A listing that does not say whether it is for the classic service or ORIGIN, or which server, is not specific enough to pay for.
Where delivery is offered, it uses ordinary in-game systems. One long-running seller, Goldicq, asks for your in-game character name, promises sending in 8 minutes to 24 hours, and says it will arrange a face-to-face trade in game or mail the gold to you. The game also has Auction Houses in all major cities, where sellers post items for sale without having to stay at a player stall (Grand Fantasia Wiki). None of those routes needs your X-Legend, Google or LINE login — the account types ORIGIN supports on Steam (SteamDB) — so a login request is not delivery.
What Can Go Wrong
- Account termination. Section 3.5 of X-Legend’s Terms names that penalty for an unauthorized real-world transfer, and section 7 adds termination of your right to use the game for a breach.
- Rollback of the gold itself. Section 7 also lets X-Legend restore game data to the status before the breach, so delivered gold and anything bought with it can disappear even if the account survives.
- Illegally obtained supply. Even Goldicq’s own sales page warns of possible account termination when using illegally obtained gold, which is a risk the buyer cannot check from a listing.
- Wrong version or server. The Aeria-era game, the post-2023 X-Legend service and ORIGIN are not interchangeable; gold delivered to the wrong one is worthless to you, however fast it arrived.
- Bought accounts can be recovered. Section 2 bars account transfers without consent, and the original creator holds the creation details support will ask for.
Red Flags to Avoid
- Listings that name no version or server, or that still price in Aeria Points as if the Aeria portal had not closed in February 2023.
- Requests for your X-Legend, Google or LINE login, email password or verification codes to “deliver” gold that mail or a face-to-face trade could deliver.
- Promises that a purchase “can’t be banned”: X-Legend’s Terms say the opposite, in section 3.5.
- Prices far below other sellers for the same server, which often means illegally obtained or duplicated supply.
- Payment only by crypto, gift cards or bank transfer, with no dispute route.
If You Decide to Go Ahead
We can’t make a purchase that X-Legend’s Terms allow. If you still buy, confirm the exact version — classic or ORIGIN — and server in writing, agree face-to-face trade or in-game mail before paying, keep the order small, never share your login, pay with a method you can dispute, and keep records of the listing and delivery. Our Grand Fantasia page lists the sellers we review with their scores.
Lower-Risk Alternatives
There is no official seller of Grand Fantasia gold. The official route in X-Legend’s Terms, section 3.1, is to buy Virtual Money and Virtual Goods only from X-Legend itself or a third-party store it uses, for use in its Item Mall; historically that was Aeria Points under Aeria. Anything sold as “official gold” by someone else misrepresents that route.
For gold itself, earn it in game: quests and dungeons in Saphael, sprite companions that gather resources and craft weapons and armor for you, and selling what you make or find through the Auction Houses in major cities such as Kaslow, Ilya and Jale. Our farming guides for Grand Fantasia, linked from the game page, cover the steady earners.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is buying Grand Fantasia gold allowed?
No. X-Legend’s Terms, section 3.5, prohibit real-world sales, gifts or trades of Virtual Money or Virtual Goods unless expressly authorized, call them void, and say they may subject your account to termination.
How is Grand Fantasia gold usually delivered?
By face-to-face trade in game or by in-game mail, using your character name; one long-running seller promises 8 minutes to 24 hours. No delivery method needs your login.
What is Grand Fantasia: ORIGIN, and why does it matter?
ORIGIN is X-Legend’s relaunched global version, released on Steam on September 2, 2024, after Gamigo closed the Aeria portal in February 2023 and transferred the game to X-Legend. Confirm a seller means your version and server before paying.
