What Wemade Says
Legend of Ymir is published by Wemade Co., Ltd. Its Operation Policy, Article 2, says the company does not acknowledge sharing, lending or cash transactions for items and accounts, and offers no protection for fraud or account theft arising from them. Article 3 adds that attempting a cash or material transaction for an item or account can bring a restriction on service use without warning.
The Terms of Service, Article V, draw the same line for Virtual Goods: real-world transfers are prohibited in all circumstances except through ways Wemade has expressly authorised, such as features of WEMIX PLAY. A transfer made outside those routes is treated as void, and Wemade says it may terminate the account involved. The same article says Store purchases are final and non-refundable, and that buyers receive a licence to use Virtual Goods, not ownership of them.
How Delivery Works: The Trade Station and the WEMIX PLAY Exception
Diamonds are the game’s premium currency, spent in the in-game shop on outfits, mounts, pets, boosts and other items (MmoGah). Third-party sellers do not send Diamonds directly. The buyer lists a low-value item on the in-game Trade Station — also described by sellers as the Auction House or trading station — at a distinctive agreed price, for example 1,003 Diamonds for a 1,000-Diamond order, and the seller buys that listing. Sellers including MmoGah and EZG say the 5% Trade Station tax is not covered, so the buyer receives less than the headline amount, and the listing details and server must be exact for the purchase to find the right item.
That Trade Station method is not the authorised exception in the Terms. The exception is blockchain trading through WEMIX PLAY. Since the May 19, 2026 update, a character that meets the level and Awakening requirements can be minted as an NFT, sealed and listed on the WEMIX PLAY Marketplace by auction or by accepting offers; the buyer then unseals it in game, which binds it to the unsealing account and prevents it being resealed for resale (WEMIX PLAY, PlayToEarn). Using token features also makes the linked WEMIX PLAY wallet permanent. None of that authorises buying Diamonds from an off-platform website.
What Can Go Wrong
- Escalating restrictions and confiscation. The Operation Policy’s Article 11 table covers mediating or attempting the exchange of items or currency for cash or real goods, paying someone to grow a character for cash or goods, and mediating account or character exchanges. Its listed restrictions for real-money trading run 3 days, then 7, 15 and 30 days, with repeat cases aggravated at the operation team’s discretion. Article 11 also says currency and items gained through unjust means can be recovered or reduced by force, through game-information adjustment or confiscation.
- No recovery help. Article 4 of the Operation Policy excludes damage from cash or account transactions the company does not acknowledge from its recovery standard, so if a seller keeps the money or a bought account is taken back, support is not a safety net. Appeals against a restriction must be filed within 7 days and are processed within 15 days.
- Bot-farm supply. Article 10 defines a bot farm to include multiple accounts accumulating, transferring or trading in-game currency for profit. Diamonds sourced that way can pull a buyer’s Trade Station transaction into an investigation aimed at the seller’s accounts.
- Bought accounts stay tied to the seller. A whole account bought off-platform is not the same as a Character NFT bought on WEMIX PLAY: the wallet link, login history and original registration stay with the first owner, who is best placed to recover it.
Red Flags to Avoid
- Any seller asking for your game login, WEMIX PLAY wallet credentials or seed phrase. Trade Station delivery needs only a listing, a server and a character name.
- Listings with no server or region named. Legend of Ymir runs ASIA, NAEU and SA regions, plus Partner’s and Streamer servers, and Diamonds cannot move freely between them.
- Prices that ignore the 5% Trade Station tax, or vague delivery instructions with no distinctive listing price to identify your item.
- Promises that a purchase is ban-proof. Wemade’s own policy lists real-money trading penalties, so no seller can guarantee that.
- Whole accounts or characters offered outside the WEMIX PLAY Character NFT Marketplace, where minting, sealing and unsealing are the documented route.
If You Decide to Go Ahead
We can’t make an off-platform purchase allowed by Wemade’s Terms. If you still buy, use a marketplace with buyer protection, never share your login or wallet details, confirm the exact server and Trade Station listing price first, pay with a method you can dispute, and keep records. Lower-Risk Alternatives
Buy Diamonds and other Virtual Goods through the official in-game and online Store described in Article V of the Terms, where Wemade lists payment methods such as credit card and PayPal. Small amounts of Diamonds can also be earned through quests, daily missions and achievements. For the blockchain side, gWEMIX is earned through cross-server content — Contested Areas, the Hall of Gold and Expeditions — and can be exchanged at a fixed 1:1 ratio with the WEMIX token (GAM3S.GG). If you want a developed character, use the WEMIX PLAY Character NFT Marketplace rather than an account sale, and note that the Steam version does not provide the blockchain content described in the Terms.
