What the Terms Say
Bandai Namco Entertainment's Terms of Service govern every Bounty Rush account. §8 covers currency and items: Game Currency and Virtual Items are a “non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited right and license” for personal, non-commercial use (§8(a)); purchases of Purchased Game Currency “are final and are not refundable, transferable, or exchangeable under any circumstances” (§8(c)); and §8(d) is the operative ban: “You may not transfer, sell, gift, exchange, trade, lease, sublicense, or rent Game Currency or Virtual Items except in the Service and as expressly permitted by BNEI.” Nothing in Bounty Rush is expressly permitted to move: the game has no trading, gifting or marketplace function at all.
Accounts are covered in §2. Each user may have only one User Account, and you agree that you will “not disclose your password to any third party or permit any third party to access your account” — which describes both a sold account's handover and every piloted boosting session. §2 also reserves BNEI's right to cancel any User Account, and under §5 the licences to Game Currency and Virtual Items terminate with the Agreement.
The Official Routes
Rainbow Diamonds are sold in exactly two kinds of place. In game, through the App Store, Google Play or Steam, at in-game prices. And at the Bandai Namco Entertainment Web Store (ww.bandainamcoentwebstore.com), Bandai Namco's own shop, which sells Bounty Rush items “at a discount over the in-game price”: you link your Bandai Namco ID to the game, purchases are granted to the linked account, and Xsolla is named on the page as “an authorized seller for digital goods in games provided by Bandai Namco Entertainment”. Promotion codes from campaigns apply there too. Those are the only sellers Bandai Namco authorizes — there is no reseller programme for this game.
Two platform rules from Bandai Namco's own FAQ shape what a Diamond balance is worth. On a data transfer between different operating systems, “the Rainbow Diamond and Event pass, Rush 30 cannot be carried over” — a cross-OS move zeroes the balance. And the Steam version cannot receive a data transfer at all; it uses Multi-Login, with Rainbow Diamonds managed separately per platform and not shared between PC and mobile. Diamonds are therefore welded to one account, on one platform family, for life.
What Can Go Wrong
- A bought account starts in breach twice over. The handover requires exactly what §2 forbids — a third party accessing the account — and the buyer ends up holding a second User Account when §2 allows one. Recovery runs through the Bandai Namco ID and linked email/social login the seller created, so the seller keeps a road back in.
- Piloted boosting is third-party access by definition. Every piloted Bounty Rush service on the game page (league pushes, medal farming) needs your login, which §2(c) prohibits outright. Self-play and coached services are the only shape that does not hand over the account.
- Diamond stock does not survive the move. Listings advertise unspent Rainbow Diamonds as value, but a cross-OS data transfer deletes them and Steam balances are separate from mobile. Price the Diamond stock at zero unless the account already sits on your platform.
- The value is the EX roster, and it is screenshot-fakeable. Guaranteed copies of Extreme (EX) units cost 1,750–2,250 Diamonds on their banners (per PlayerAuctions' category guide; a single pull is 5 Diamonds, a multi 50), so accounts are marketed on EX counts, maxed units and medal sets — all provable only in game, never from a listing image.
- Boosthive carries a Caution. Of the ten vendors wired on the Bounty Rush game page, Boosthive (3.9/5) is the one under 4.0 and carries a Caution label per the page's own FAQ — read its review before ordering anything from it.
- The transfer-ID scam is documented by Bandai itself. Its official FAQ addresses players who were promised Rainbow Diamonds in exchange for sharing their account transfer ID and password. Bandai also notes new transfer codes stopped being issued on September 24, 2024 and that operators cannot disclose transfer information for any reason — whoever holds the transfer credentials holds the account.
Red Flags to Avoid
- “Rainbow Diamonds delivered from my account to yours” — no transfer function exists in Bounty Rush, and §8(d) bans the sale anyway.
- Anyone offering Diamonds in exchange for your transfer ID and password — the exact scam Bandai Namco's FAQ warns about.
- Diamond prices far below the Web Store's already-discounted official price.
- EX rosters and medal sets shown only as screenshots the seller will not verify in game.
- Piloted boosting sold with no mention that sharing your login breaches §2 of the Terms.
- Sellers who refuse marketplace escrow or push payment off-platform.
Buying Checklist
- Benchmark every Diamond price against the Bandai Namco Entertainment Web Store first — it already discounts under the in-game price, so “cheap” third-party Diamonds have no legitimate source.
- Use only the wired vendors on the game page: accounts at IGGM (4.5/5), PlayerAuctions (4.3), MMOEXP (4.3), G2G (4.1) and Eldorado (4.1); boosting at BlazingBoost (4.6), Skycoach (4.5), Overgear (4.2), Gaming4ez (4.1) and Boosthive (3.9, Caution).
- Match platform before anything else: iOS, Android and Steam balances and data do not mix, and cross-OS transfers delete Rainbow Diamonds.
- Verify the EX roster, medal sets and league rank in game before escrow releases — screenshots are not proof.
- For accounts: take the full Bandai Namco ID and linked-email transfer at handover, and change the password immediately.
- For boosting, prefer self-play; if piloted, change your password the moment the order completes.
- Keep payment inside marketplace escrow (PlayerGuardian, Eldorado TradeShield) and keep the order records.
The Safe Alternatives
The free Diamond drip is the usual gacha shape — login bonuses, events, league and solo-play rewards — and the pity maths on PlayerAuctions' category page shows why patience matters: an EX guarantee at up to 2,250 Diamonds is a stockpile, not an impulse. If you do spend, the Web Store is the cheapest legitimate route Bandai Namco offers, with discounts and promotion codes the app stores don't run. The account and boosting rows on the Bounty Rush game page are listed for comparison; this guide's bottom line is that Diamonds come from Bandai Namco or from nobody, and both accounts and piloted boosting sit outside §2 and §8 of the document that governs them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you buy One Piece Bounty Rush Rainbow Diamonds from other players?
No. Bounty Rush has no trading, gifting or player marketplace, and §8(d) of Bandai Namco’s Terms bans transferring, selling or trading Game Currency or Virtual Items except as expressly permitted — nothing in this game is. Diamonds reach an account only by buying them from Bandai Namco: in game through the app stores or Steam, or at the Bandai Namco Entertainment Web Store. A “player-to-player Diamonds” offer is an account sale or a scam.
Is there an official One Piece Bounty Rush top-up?
Yes, two. The in-game shop via the App Store, Google Play or Steam, and the Bandai Namco Entertainment Web Store, Bandai Namco’s own shop, which sells Bounty Rush items at a discount over the in-game price — you link your Bandai Namco ID, purchases land on the linked account, and Xsolla is named there as the authorized seller. No third-party top-up site is authorized for this game.
Do Rainbow Diamonds survive a phone or platform change?
No. Bandai Namco’s official FAQ states that on a data transfer between different operating systems, Rainbow Diamonds, the Event Pass and Rush 30 cannot be carried over — the balance is lost. The Steam version uses Multi-Login instead of transfer, and its Rainbow Diamonds are managed separately from mobile and never shared. Price any account’s Diamond stock at zero if you would have to change platform to use it.
What makes a Bounty Rush account expensive?
The EX roster. Per PlayerAuctions’ category guide, a guaranteed Extreme (EX) unit costs 1,750–2,250 Diamonds on its banner, a Bounty Fest guarantee costs 750, a single pull is 5 Diamonds and a multi-pull 50 — so listings lead with EX counts, maxed units, medal sets, league rank and unspent Diamond stocks of 5,000+. Verify all of it in game before paying; screenshots are the standard fake.
