Read This First: Two Stocks, One Repricing
Update 15.0 (October 12, 2026) repriced the existing stock. The 2nd Anniversary update removed the Unit Ascension system — ascended units lost their ascension bonuses — and ran a game-wide damage and enemy-health rebalance alongside the new True Shadow Monarch evolution, +5 Memorias and +14 Familiars. Any value list, account listing or unit price written before that date assumes a system that no longer exists; price against the live shelf, not against pre-anniversary guides.
The structural point survives the repricing: Gems are the stored value (accounts are literally stocked and priced on their Gem balances — 120–150K Gems on the top account seen), and rerolls are the working consumable. Play pays both; the market prices both.
What Play Pays
The play side of the economy is the game’s mode rotation: Gems and reroll stock accumulate through play, and the anniversary update added fresh surfaces for both — Shadow Trials as a new mode, permanent AV Arcade minigames, and Build A Unit inside Odyssey Adventure. Event and anniversary windows are the income spikes in this genre’s shape: the anniversary’s own stock (the God Ascended anniversary unit, the Death’s Grasp unit on the Event Pass’s tier 50) exists because the window does.
The Player Quest is the update’s one non-banner route worth naming: the True Shadow Monarch — the Transcendent evolution of Song Jinwu and Igros — is unlocked through it rather than pulled, and opens a seventh team slot when placed first. Quest-locked value cannot be summoned or, directly, bought; it is the part of the roster play alone produces.
The Shelf: How Units and Gems Are Priced
