How the Caps Work
Each of the four scoring categories caps at 10,000 Bloodpoints per trial, so 40,000 is the most a match can pay before bonuses, according to the Dead by Daylight Wiki. Bloodpoint perks and add-ons can’t push past those caps, but offerings apply after the trial and can. Your wallet caps at 5,000,000 Bloodpoints from trials and Tome challenges; codes and login rewards can take you past it.

Habits That Fill the Categories
Survivor: eip.gg suggests aiming for at least two unhooks, about two generators’ worth of objective work and two chases a match. Perks like Prove Thyself add more objective points.
Killer: Killers can’t be eliminated early, so longer matches pay more. Hook each Survivor as many times as you can, chase and kick generators. Distressing gives +100% Deviousness and Beast of Prey up to +50% Hunter.
Rituals and the Archives
Do your Daily Rituals, and keep a Tome challenge active at all times. The Archives’ Compendium lets you pick challenges from past Tomes, and they still pay Bloodpoints.
Play for the Emblems Too
The same actions that fill Bloodpoint categories earn emblems, which decide your pips. As Survivor, eip.gg suggests two generators, a totem and a chase while others repair for Lightbringer, plus safe unhooks and heals for Benevolent. As Killer, pressure several generators early, hook all four Survivors at least once and avoid camping hooks, which costs Chaser points. Our grades guide has the full breakpoints.
