How Bits and Progression Work
The currency is the Bit, and its biggest sink is evolution. Card evolutions are done at NPC Bokomon in Time Village, and NamuWiki’s Mephismon entry gives a typical recipe: one combined evolution card, one Evoluter and 500,000 Bits in fees. The top end is far steeper. GameKing’s own patch notes put Omegamon Alter-S at 10,000,000 Bits, and a DarknessBagramon evolution at 1,000,000,000 Bits plus an Eternal Darkness item bought from the shop.
Two consequences follow. First, farming Bits is mostly farming things other players need — Digicodes, evolution cards and dungeon keys — rather than picking coins up off the floor. Second, prices are heavily inflated after two decades of service: NamuWiki notes market prices in the billions, and that players use the game’s Bit compression feature to trade high-value evolution cards safely. Treat every drop as inventory first and vendor trash last.
Digicode Farming by Stage
Digicodes come in ranked families (V, E and L among them), and GameKing’s official farming guide, published December 2, 2022, names a spot for each rank. Because that guide is from 2022, treat it as the established map of the farm rather than a promise about today’s drop tables.

One daily sideline from the same guide: DigiMemory E can be used about 20 times a day, grants EXP and drops a large amount of Digicode E and useful items, with the D-Ark of Friendship as the standout drop. It is the closest thing Digimon RPG has to a daily route, so build it into every session.
Dungeons, Keys and the Riddle Quiz
The instanced content is gated, not open. Per NamuWiki’s region list, Wind Valley requires tamer level 40 and the Dark Dungeon tamer level 30, Royal Base sits behind keys crafted from Deva material drops out of Sky Dungeon 1F, and Water Space needs the Deksmon’s Essence dropped by the Royal Base boss. On Labyrinth 3F, a level 78 Pharaohmon drops the Unidentified Invitation that opens Labyrinth Hard. The Labyrinth of Spirit, a solo hunting dungeon aimed at levels 110–120, charges 100,000,000 Bits entry at an NPC on Labyrinth 3F — a pure Bit sink, so only go once the rest of your build is paid for.
Do not assume dungeons are the best income, either. NamuWiki’s assessment, written around 2020 and worth treating as dated, was that clearing all 50 Riddle Quiz questions paid better than the instance dungeons of the time, which could even lose you money. Run the quiz, farm codes where the table above points, and treat dungeons as progression and key material first.
Capturing and Crest Materials
Wild Digimon are the other resource. The Digimon Wiki’s account of the game says only In-Training Digimon can be caught for free, with three capture attempts per battle and a low success chance, while a purchased net guarantees the catch — that description predates the 2022 relaunch, so check the current cash shop before relying on it. NamuWiki adds that capture nets were reworked and rates lowered, which is why capture targets are planned, not casual.
Defeated Digimon also leave species drops, and drops are a crafting currency of their own: crests are made by taking set drop bundles to Babamon. The Digimon Wiki’s crest list gives concrete recipes — the Crest of Friendship, for example, takes 2 Floramon drops, 10 Gomamon drops and 12 Tokomon drops — and the higher crests are built from finished +1 crests. When you choose a farming spot, you are also choosing which crest materials accumulate in your bag.
EXP Events, Dailies and Boosts
The single biggest accelerator is patience. GameKing’s patch notes through 2025 show a recurring EXP Bonus Event that raises base EXP by 500%, typically running from one Thursday maintenance to the next — examples include November 27 to December 4, 2025 and December 18 to 24, 2025. A week at five times base EXP is worth more than any spot change, so save level pushes, new partner raises and DigiMemory sessions for those windows when you can.
The same patch notes show the event partner Digimon rotating weekly through the Impmon, Monodramon, DORUmon and V-mon lines, and NamuWiki advises that event partners are generally stronger than the standard starters — if you are starting fresh, starting during the rotation you actually want is a real progression decision.
Daily habits are smaller but free. The official site’s guide to the companion management app describes a once-a-day attendance check with a bonus for seven consecutive days, plus a daily Buff Exchange Ticket issued to your in-game cash depository. In game, GameKing’s patch notes describe daily rewards claimed from Monzaemon, and a Premium Daily Reward Ticket that adds a Maturity’s EXP Scroll (Normal) X — worth 10% of your leader Digimon’s EXP, though it cannot be used on a Digimon above level 140 — and a potion raising attack power by 25% for an hour. Prince Mamemon in the Theme Park also sells items for DR’s Earned Coins, including Evil Ring X for 10 coins, so event coins have a shop worth saving for.
Common Mistakes
- Vendoring evolution cards. Soulmon drops them nearly every battle; sold to players or converted to predation data, they are worth more than the NPC price.
- Grinding levels outside a 500% EXP week when an event is days away. The bonus is server-wide and recurring; check the latest GameKing patch note before a long session.
- Paying the 100,000,000-Bit Labyrinth of Spirit entry before your evolution fees are covered. Evolution costs run from 500,000 Bits to a billion; the dungeon will still be there.
- Ignoring what your farm spot drops for crests. Drops are crest materials at Babamon, so the wrong spot quietly wastes half your session’s value.
- Trusting old Digimon Battle-era guides word for word. The English game closed in 2013 and relaunched in 2022 with a new translation; mechanics like capture nets have changed since the oldest English write-ups.
