Read This First: One Market, Two Deliveries
Standard Credit delivery is a meetup, not a login. PlayerAuctions’ own FAQ gives the two standard methods: an in-game face-to-face meetup, or in-game mailbox delivery. No login changes hands. The same category also hosts a cheaper in-account variant, where the seller logs into your account and farms the Credits there — LOGIN delivery and account sharing. This guide’s benchmark is the meetup market; the variant is flagged in full in our buying guide.
Why the distinction matters to a farmer: the meetup price is a clean price for earned Credits. However you earn yours — the routes below — you are producing the same commodity those sellers deliver in person, and its per-million price is public. That makes Elite Dangerous one of the few games where a farmer can price their own hour exactly.
The Earning Routes, Structurally
Credits enter your account through the game’s working loops: hauling and trade between stations, combat work, exploration data, mining and the mission boards that pay for all of them. The structural advice of the game applies unchanged: match the loop to your ship. A dedicated hauler earns on volume and route discipline; a combat fit earns on risk; the expensive mistake is the all-rounder asked to do everything at half rate. The Anaconda Mk II — landed today, October 20, 2026, via ARX Early Access — is the current headline of the hauling end: a large multi-role ship with a max cargo capacity of 750, per Frontier’s October Dev Log coverage.
Group content pays its own way: the same update added Found Adrift, a free Operation for up to four players — boarding a reappeared, silent megaship to recover a valuable asset while another group fights you for it. Frontier positions piracy and smuggling as growing money-makers too, with its Law & Disorder crime rework due in December: under the coming system a crime must be witnessed and confirmed before it lands on your record. None of that changes today’s routes, but it dates this guide’s horizon: the December update is the next repricing of criminal income.
The Benchmark: Pricing Your Hour
- Do the arithmetic before a long session: at $0.030 to $0.042 per million, a 1,000M stack prices at roughly $30 to $42 on the meetup market. If your route earns well under that per hour, you are farming for the flying, not the money — which is fine, if it is a choice.
- Scale is the market’s own signal: reviews name 3,000M, 5,000M and 10,000M deliveries — buyers purchase in bulk because endgame ships, modules and rebuys are priced in the billions.
- Engineered and Guardian gear is the parallel market: the items shelf (7 weapon offers, $17.50 to $105) prices the gear your Credits would otherwise grind toward — compare a module’s Credit-and-materials cost against its shelf price.
- Never let a farming route become an in-account offer: if a “seller” proposes to farm ON your account, that is the LOGIN variant, not a delivery.
Buying Credits

Frontier is positioning it that way: its Law & Disorder rework, due December 2026, rebuilds crime around witnessed, confirmable offences, and Frontier describes smuggling as becoming a more viable money-maker. Today’s rates are the current system’s; the December update is the repricing to watch.
