Earning Hunt Dollars
- Rush clues: each clue pays 50 Hunt Dollars, so three clues can cover your weapons and some tools even if you die afterwards.
- Soul Survivor: hunters and equipment are free, and you still earn some Hunt Dollars when you die.
- Stealth runs: kill monsters, collect clues, check cash registers and extract without fighting.
- Sell what you don’t use: filter your weapons, tools and consumables by owned and sell the spares.
All from Crytek’s Developer Insight post of April 25, 2025.
Spending Less
- Free Hunters come with a contraband First Aid Kit and melee weapon you can reuse on other hunters.
- Dynamite over Frags: five or six Dynamite Sticks cost about the same as one Frag Bomb, though they hit less hard.
- Loot weapons: swapping a Frontier 73C for a dropped Krag saves about 409 Hunt Dollars, in Crytek’s example.
- Packmule: four starting Upgrade Points in Packmule let you carry two consumables and refill free from supply points and toolboxes.
- Throwing Axes with the Assailant trait (1 point) can replace a Heavy Knife and Throwing Knives, freeing a tool slot.
Money After Prestige
Prestiging resets you to rank 1 with $8,000. At most prestiges you can take an extra $2,000 instead of a +10% Mission XP boost; the Hunt: Showdown Wiki notes the XP boost can be worth more over time, since a rank 100 Bloodline earns $200 per 5,000 Bloodline XP.
Boosting
Hunt Dollar farms, prestige and MMR boosts are on our Hunt: Showdown 1896 page. Prefer services that play with you rather than on your account. Prestige and Bloodline ranks are covered in our leveling guide.
