Legend of Mushroom Gold Coins & Diamonds Farming Guide

Nothing in Legend of Mushroom is farmed off monsters in the usual sense — combat is automatic, and income flows through the Magic Lamp, idle rewards and checklists. This guide covers the earnable economy as the sources document it: Gold Coins that have exactly one job, Diamonds that come from task lists rather than drops, and the lamp supply everything else depends on.

There is no player trading in Legend of Mushroom, and no currency drops off monsters. Gold Coins and Diamonds are earned inside your own account — Gold from the lamp loop, Diamonds from checklists and events — and Diamonds are also the game’s top-up currency. Any site promising a “Gold per hour” rate or trading you in-game currency is describing a game that doesn’t exist.

Three resources make up the earnable layer. Gold Coins come from rubbing lamps and selling gear, and per Theria’s currency breakdown they have a single purpose: levelling up your Magic Lamp — they can be spent on nothing else. Diamonds are the flexible shop currency, earned from tasks and Adventure Rank conditions, and spent on Clock Winders, Speed-Up items, coins and Skill/Pal tickets. Magic Lamps themselves are the consumable: each rub produces equipment, Gold Coins and EXP, so your lamp stock is effectively your income rate.

The Lamp Loop: Rub, Sell, Upgrade

Every lamp rub pays out three things at once — a piece of equipment, Gold Coins, and EXP toward your next level (WriterParty’s walkthrough describes the loop directly). Gear you don’t keep is sold, and selling gear is the main Gold Coin tap. That Gold goes straight back into the lamp: upgrading it raises the level and rarity of the gear it produces, which sells for more, which funds the next upgrade. EZG’s walkthrough stresses that lamp upgrades use Gold only — no Diamonds, no materials — but the cost accumulates steeply as the lamp level rises.

Each upgrade also carries a wait timer that grows with lamp level, which is why Speed-Up Coupons (and ad skips) matter: an idle lamp mid-upgrade earns nothing. The second lever is automation. The lamp’s settings cog lets you set gear-quality filters so non-matching drops auto-sell while you roll (Theria documents the filter setup), and the number of lamps opened per batch grows with lamp level — AppAmped’s lamp guide lists the steps:

Lamp levelLamps opened at once
Below 81
82
124
166
208
2410
2820

Set the batch size as high as your lamp level allows and let the filters sell the junk — a long lamp stock converts to Gold and EXP far faster batched than tapped one by one.

Keeping the Lamp Fed: Where Lamps Come From

Lamps are awarded for clearing stages and completing tasks (Theria), and the repeatable supply has four documented channels. AFK rewards pay Gold Coins and Lamps for time away (covered next section). The Assault Lamp Thief dungeon is the direct lamp farm — Gamer Tweak notes it runs on a limited set of keys that replenish the next day, so unspent keys are wasted lamps; start on a lower difficulty and raise it as your power allows. Daily tasks and activity rewards pay out lamps alongside Gems and other resources. And events, which rotate every few days, variously pay lamps, Gold, Clock Winders and other items — Gamer Tweak’s advice is simply to enter all of them, because the currencies stack across systems. Redeem codes are a smaller top-up: Theria notes they pay skill tokens, pal tokens and similar progression items.

AFK Income: The Real Salary

Legend of Mushroom keeps paying while you are gone: offline time converts into Gold Coins and Lamps (Gamer Tweak), and chapter progress raises the payout — EZG’s guide is explicit that the faster your stage progress, the more generous the AFK rewards, which is why pushing stages is an income decision, not just a progression one. Two documented multipliers: watching an ad adds 2 hours of rewards, up to three ads a day for six bonus hours (Gamer Tweak); and EZG recommends claiming roughly every eight hours so the accrual never sits idle. There is also an online trickle — EZG documents small reward drops (Diamonds, Skill Coupons, Pal Coupons) landing about every 10 minutes you are online. None of this is huge alone; stacked daily, it is the floor your whole economy stands on.

Diamonds: Checklist Income, Shop Currency

Diamonds do not drop from combat — they are paid for completing the game’s checklists. The documented sources: the task list beside the lamp (kill counts, stage targets and similar, paying Gold, Speed Tickets, Skill Coupons and Diamonds — EZG’s walkthrough), Adventure Rank conditions, which pay rewards and raise your Attribute Bonus as they complete (EZG), and the small online trickle covered above. Spend them where they un-block the lamp economy: Theria’s currency guide lists the shop’s Diamond stock as event items, Clock Winders, coins, speed tokens, Pal tickets and Skill tickets — buying coins with Diamonds when a lamp upgrade is waiting is a documented, legitimate conversion.

One timing rule dominates Diamond-adjacent spending. Mounts unlock on day 4 of a server and are upgraded with Clock Winders, but Theria’s guide says to hold them for Mount Rush on day 9: the event pays 2,000 Divine Hammers per 800 Clock Winders spent, capped at 8,000 Hammers, and the Hammers feed your artifact’s base attributes. Clock Winders burned on day 5 buy the same mount upgrade and none of the Hammers.

The Daily Routine

Buying Accounts

Because nothing trades between players, the outside market for this game is accounts only: our Legend of Mushroom page lists the reviewed account sellers, and notes that Gems and Diamonds are official top-up currency — bought from the game, not farmed or resold by players. We found no boosting listings worth listing. What the levels and promotions on a bought account actually mean is covered in our leveling guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Gold Coins used for in Legend of Mushroom?

One thing only: levelling up your Magic Lamp. Theria’s currency breakdown is blunt — the coins have no other purpose. Every other system (mounts, skills, pals) is fed by Diamonds, Clock Winders, coupons and tickets, so Gold should flow into the lamp as fast as you earn it.

How do you get more Magic Lamps?

From stage clears and tasks, from AFK rewards, from events — and most directly from the Assault Lamp Thief dungeon, which runs on keys that replenish daily (Gamer Tweak). Spend the keys every day; they do not carry over.

Can you earn Diamonds for free?

Yes — Diamonds are paid by the task list and Adventure Rank conditions, with a small extra trickle from the periodic online reward drops. They are also the top-up currency, which is why they feel scarce: the game sells what it also gives away slowly. What you cannot do is earn them from combat drops — no monster pays Diamonds.

When should I spend Clock Winders?

At Mount Rush. Mounts unlock on day 4 of a server, but Theria’s guide documents the day-9 Mount Rush event paying 2,000 Divine Hammers for every 800 Clock Winders spent, up to 8,000 Hammers. Winders spent before the event buy the upgrade only; winders spent during it buy the upgrade plus the Hammers.
