Read This First: An Early Access Economy
Pantheon entered Early Access in December 2024, so its economy is young and its prices move. Figures below come from a fan money guide and are guide-era, not a live price feed. Treat routes as the shape of income, not a promised rate.
Pantheon’s money runs in tiers: copper, silver, gold and platinum, per the MMORPGTips money guide. Gold is the middle tier players talk about most, but the farm is the same at every tier: kill, gather, craft, sell. There is no daily-quest gold faucet to build a routine around; income is loot and trade.
The game is buy-to-play in Early Access, per MassivelyOP’s October 2026 Q&A coverage, with no subscription and no cash shop currency to confuse with coin. What you earn in game is what you spend.
Monster Loot: Humanoids Pay Best
The MMORPGTips guide’s first rule is to farm humanoids, which drop more raw currency and saleable loot than beasts. Its solo numbers, attributed to that guide: hobgoblins in the level 8–10 range drop 1.5 to 2 silver per kill, Gadai and cultist camps around 1 silver per kill, and group content pays more — Halnir’s Cave ghosts at level 20+ drop 50 silver each, and the Lost Orc Camp pays 20 to 50 silver per kill plus loot.
The lesson is not the exact silver: it is that raw coin scales with level and group size, and that a solo player farming below their level earns the smallest coin in the game. Move up as soon as you can clear the next camp safely.
Gathering and Crafting Income
Gathered materials sell because crafters need them. The same guide prices a stack of Astralite Ore at 5 silver and a stack of Wolfbane Leaf at up to 5 gold — a reminder that one herb stack can be worth many kills. Cooking sells too: Pan-Fried Brisket and Fisher’s Revenge carry buffs players want, and frog meat alone sells for about 1 gold per stack in that guide’s numbers.
Crafting professions that feed constant demand — health and mana potions from alchemy, bags from tailoring, bank boxes from carpentry — turn gathered stacks into finished goods. Gather what your server’s crafters are buying, not what is nearest your bind point.
Selling to Other Players
High-demand, low-drop-rate items are where gold concentrates: the PlayerAuctions listing for Pantheon gold exists precisely because players trade coin for competitive gear and consumables. Sell items other players want and cannot easily get themselves, and price against what the market actually pays rather than what an item cost you to obtain.
Keep a reserve. Pantheon charges for progression gates — a Steam leveling guide notes a rune purchase costing around 6 gold by level 24 — so spending every coin on gear leaves nothing for the next unlock. Bank the gate money first.
Buying Gold Instead
Third-party Pantheon gold is sold on marketplaces, including the PlayerAuctions shelf checked for this guide. It is not an official route, and bought coin carries the usual risks: traced supply, account action, and no recourse if the seller vanishes. If you are considering it, read our guide to buying safely and compare sellers on the Pantheon page first.
Frequently Asked Questions
What currency does Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen use?
Coin in tiers: copper, silver, gold and platinum, earned from monster loot, gathering, crafting and player sales. Gold is the tier most guides price things in.
What is the best early gold farm in Pantheon?
Humanoid camps: the MMORPGTips guide puts hobgoblins at 1.5 to 2 silver per kill solo in the level 8-10 range, with group content such as Halnir’s Cave paying far more per kill at higher levels.
Can you buy Pantheon gold?
Third-party sellers list it, but it is not an official route. Bought coin carries trace and account-action risk; the guide above covers the safer way to judge a seller.
