XP Into Certs
You earn 1 cert for every 250 XP, with no limit on how often. A single XP tick over 499 pays several certs at once (1,500 XP in one tick is 6 certs). XP boosts add 50% to everything you earn while they run. Service ribbons are worth 250 XP each, so every ribbon is one more cert.

That is 232 certs per weapon, and medal certs ignore the cert cap.
Battle Ranks
Battle ranks 1 to 100 pay 100 certs each, 9,900 in total. Ranks past 100, and ranks earned after joining the Advanced Specialization Program, pay none.
Membership and the Cap
- A regular character holds at most 10,000 certs; anything above that is lost (medal certs excepted).
- Premium membership raises the cap to 50,000 and adds 48 certs a day per character, which you must log in to claim; unclaimed certs do not stack past 48.
- New players get 2,000 certs from the Elite Recruit bundle in their first 72 hours, per GamesFuze.
A Simple Plan
