Raven2 Gold Farming Guide: Field Hunting, Dungeons & the Crystal Market

Raven2’s farmable currency is Gold, earned the old way — hunting — and its premium currency, Crystal, is deliberately not a monster drop on standard servers. What connects them is the player Market: the materials your hunting produces are what other players pay Crystals for. This guide covers both halves of that economy, with the dungeon rotation that feeds it.

Crystals do not drop from monsters in Raven2. Marketplace documentation is blunt about it: Crystals are earned via events, rewards or top-ups, so the sources are limited. A guide promising a Crystal-per-hour field route is inventing one. The honest Crystal income for a free player is events and missions (below) and selling hunted materials to other players on the Market.

The currency map: Gold is the earned workhorse — it drops from hunting and questing and is spent on skill and weapon enhancement, the sink BlueStacks’ beginner guide tells new players to protect (“spend gold primarily on skill and weapon enhancements”). Crystals are the premium and trading currency, spent on summons — Familiars first, per marketplace guidance, since they add attacks and buffs, with Holy Garments second. Materials from specific monsters feed crafting, and the surplus is your Market stock.

Gold: Field Hunting & Offline Farming

Field hunting is the base income: Gold, EXP and drops from the monsters in the hunting grounds your story progress has opened. Raven2 is built for auto and offline farming — the crafting documentation describes the intended loop: when you need a material, open the Crafting menu, hold on the item and check “Defeated Monsters” to see exactly which monsters drop it and where, then park your character on that spot during offline time to farm it automatically. The same guidance gives the selection rule: balance kill speed against survivability — a spot you clear fast but die in pays worse than a slightly poorer spot you hold all night.

Story progression is the other Gold tap early on: main missions pay steady gear and currency rewards as they unlock new systems, so a character behind on story is farming with one hand tied. Keep the story moving first, then let offline hours work the spots it opened.

The Dungeon Rotation

The documented daily/weekly dungeons each pay a different slice of the economy — the crafting and resource guide’s breakdown:

DungeonDocumented drops
Gold DungeonGold & Fragmented Crystalline
XP DungeonXP, Tammons & Crystalline
Ancient TempleRare Gear Blueprint Fragments and skills
Deep SwampRare gear and Weapon Blueprint Fragments
Red Rock Canyon (later unlock)Accessory Blueprint Fragments

Run them as a rotation, not a choice: the Gold Dungeon funds enhancement, the blueprint dungeons produce the gear plans (and saleable fragments) your build needs, and the XP Dungeon keeps levels moving so higher hunting grounds stay open. “Double-dipping” is the guide’s phrase for it — dungeons advance your character and your wallet in the same entries.

Turning Materials into Crystals

The player Market is where hunted surplus becomes Crystals: list excess crafting materials and let progression-hungry players pay for the farming you already did. Two documented mechanics to know before your first listing: selling requires a one-time device registration, confirmed by a PIN sent to your email — do it once and listings open up — and on the buy side, the standing advice is to sort by lowest price per unit and be patient for deals, which tells you as a seller that undercut wars are constant and priced-to-move materials sell.

The Market also has a guild dimension Netmarble built into the launch events: guild activity in the Market feeds a server tax fund (the launch event put one million Crystals per server into it) that participating guild members can claim from — worth being in an active guild even for a mostly-solo farmer.

Free Crystals: Events, Missions & Check-ins

The documented free Crystal sources, per BlueStacks’ beginner guide: daily check-ins, milestone events and limited-time missions, with occasional Crystal rewards from main story quests and boss completions. Netmarble’s own launch events show the shape of the bigger payouts: a Crystal event paid Crystals for leveling up, with the top 100 levelers on a server splitting a one million Crystal prize pool, alongside the guild Market tax fund. Launch windows are when these events run hottest, but the pattern — level milestones plus guild activity — is the one to watch in every event rotation.

Spending discipline matters more than income here, because the sources are capped: marketplace guidance is to hold Crystals for events with guaranteed or boosted summon outcomes rather than dribbling them into standard summons, and to prioritise Familiars (extra attacks and buffs) ahead of Holy Garments (character buffs) when you do spend.

The Zero Server Exception

Netmarble’s Zero fresh-start servers change the Crystal rule: field hunting there collects Farming Crystals, a currency that can only be collected by playing and is exchanged for key items in the Shop. Zero also raises equipment drop rates on field loot and removes the top of the paid ladder — Mythic-grade Holy Garments, Familiars and Awakenings are excluded, so the strongest gear on Zero is earned through events and play. If your goal is farming-led progression with the least spending pressure, Zero is the documented route; on standard servers, the Market loop above is the Crystal engine.

Buying Crystals & Accounts

Crystals are also the currency the third-party market trades in: sellers deliver them directly to your account, and boosting services sell piloted farming and leveling on top. What is listed, by whom, and at what delivery method is compared on the Raven2 page. Given that free Crystal sources are event-capped by design, weigh any purchase against simply waiting for the next milestone event rotation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you farm Crystals from monsters in Raven2?

Not on standard servers. Marketplace documentation states Crystals are earned via events, rewards or top-ups, with limited sources — daily check-ins, milestone events, missions, some story quests and boss completions. The exception is the Zero servers, where field hunting drops Farming Crystals that exchange for items in the Shop.

What is the best way to farm Gold in Raven2?

Field hunting (including offline farming parked on the right monster spot) plus the Gold Dungeon, which pays Gold and Fragmented Crystalline. Story missions also pay steady Gold early. Protect the income: Gold is the currency skill and weapon enhancement consumes.

How do you sell items on the Raven2 Market?

Complete the one-time device registration (a PIN is sent to your email), then list your surplus materials; other players pay in Crystals. On the buying side, sort by lowest price per unit — and expect the same undercutting pressure on your own listings.

What should Crystals be spent on first?

Summons during events with boosted or guaranteed outcomes, per marketplace guidance — and Familiars before Holy Garments, because Familiars add their own attacks and buffs while Garments buff your character alone. Everyday Crystal dribbles into standard summons are the documented waste.
