Two Currencies, Not One
Phoenix Credits are earned in game. Premium Credits are bought. Confusing the two is how a farming guide ends up promising income that does not exist.
Phoenix Credits are the currency you spend on Sealed Caches and upgrade bundles. Premium Credits are the top-up currency: bought in the store, then converted into Phoenix Credits at a 1:1 ratio, per Dot Esports. Buying Premium Credits is a purchase, not a farm — never budget “farmed Premium Credits”, because there is no such income. Everything below is the Phoenix Credits farm.
Missions First: The One-Time Haul
Main missions award 40 to 60 Phoenix Credits and side missions award 30, per Dot Esports. Clear the map first: check the Side Missions tab of the Missions menu for unclaimed missions, since some must be picked up before they pay. Dot Esports’ own best-farm advice is the same shape as this guide: missions first, then dailies and weeklies on repeat.
Daily and Weekly Quests: The Repeatable Core
Four daily quests grant 60 Phoenix Credits in total, with simple objectives such as defeating five enemies, upgrading a weapon or buying an item from a vendor. Weekly quests span more activities, including Lone Wolf and PvP modes: earn 300 Weekly Quest Points to claim all weekly rewards, including 140 Phoenix Credits. This is the farm once the missions run out — do it every cycle, not when you remember.
SHD Commendations: 10 to 25 a Pop
Missions and levelling award SHD Commendations, the game’s achievements, which raise your SHD level. Each Commendation grants 10 to 25 Phoenix Credits, so a quick Commendation fills a gap when you are a few credits short of a cache. Check the SHD Commendations menu for nearly finished ones before you start a new grind.
Events and the Wider List
Events award Phoenix Credits alongside upgrade materials and SHD Keys, from daily sign-in events to beginner objectives — check the Events menu, and treat event rewards as windows, not permanent farms. GamingOnPhone’s wider source list adds the Agent Manual, Lone Wolf Challenge, Encrypted Store, Recommended Build Rewards and Agent Career Advancement: claim those tracks as you unlock them rather than hunting one source.
What to Spend Them On
Sealed Caches cost 160 Phoenix Credits (50 for a Standard cache) or an SHD Key. Standard caches drop upgrade materials up to Superior rarity; OS Protocol caches are the better spend, because OS Protocols are hard to come by through regular gameplay. Bundles carry materials, OS Protocols and Tactical Augmentation Modules — two TAMs on a weapon add 20 percent damage, up to 80 percent with five, but the module-to-weapon match is random. Dot Esports’ saving advice stands: do not rush spending early, since specializations and weapons change.
Buying Instead
The bought route is Premium Credits converted 1:1: Dot Esports lists bundles from 60 (+60) for $0.99 up to 6,000 (+6,000) for $99.99. Joytify also lists The Division Resurgence Premium Credits by ID and server on our Division Resurgence page. That is a purchase with a price, not a farm with a rate — and it is the only sense in which Premium Credits enter this guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Phoenix Credits and Premium Credits?
Phoenix Credits are earned by playing: missions, daily and weekly quests, SHD Commendations and events. Premium Credits are bought in the store and convert into Phoenix Credits at 1:1. Only Phoenix Credits have a farm.
Can you farm Premium Credits?
No. Premium Credits are a top-up currency, bought not earned. Any guide promising farmed Premium Credits is describing Phoenix Credits, or selling you something.
What is the best Phoenix Credits farm?
Missions first (main 40 to 60, side 30), then daily quests (60 a day across four quests) and weekly quests (140 Phoenix Credits at 300 Weekly Quest Points) every cycle, with SHD Commendations (10 to 25 each) filling gaps.
What should I spend Phoenix Credits on?
OS Protocol Sealed Caches first, since OS Protocols are scarce through gameplay; Standard caches for materials up to Superior. Do not rush early spends before your specialization settles.
