Gameranx explains that a summon costs one Lacrima of Circulation and upgrades cost more as your summons level up, which makes it the rarer of the two.
Farming Lacrima
The early loop recommended by Destructoid runs during the Trials of the Frozen Mountain quest: kill the four Volk Warriors between the Blade Nexus and the Blade Phantom, take the boss to half health, let it beat you, pick up the boss Lacrima at the arena entrance and repeat. It is the fastest early source, but The Backdash notes it tails off at higher levels.
Farming Lacrima of Circulation
Gameranx’s spot is at Phraugh Village Docks:
- Teleport from the Crevice to Phraugh Village and go to the Phraugh Village Docks checkpoint.
- Drop down from the red ledge, cross the rocks and climb the ladder to the red Revenants of Adversity summon signs.
- Summon them near the water and knock them off the ledge; a spear lunge kick almost guarantees the kill.
- Reset the shortcut platform on the stairs to make each loop faster.
Early on each kill gives about one Lacrima of Circulation; Gameranx puts it at roughly 3 to 5 per kill by mid game, and more Revenants appear as you progress, so the spot stays useful.
Tips
- Spend Lacrima before a boss attempt, so a death costs nothing.
- Damage a boss past its threshold before dying to still collect its Lacrima at the entrance.
- Farm Lacrima of Circulation whenever you pass Phraugh Village; it is kept on death, so there is no risk.
