Farm Zones That Match Your Level

Silver farming in Tree of Savior is heavily zone-dependent — higher-level areas drop more Silver per kill, but the tougher enemies eat into your efficiency if your build can't clear them quickly. The community has settled on a few reliable zones by level bracket: Tenet Church around levels 40-60 for weak, plentiful mobs that are easy to farm in volume, and Demon Prison District 2 around levels 100-150, which offers a good mix of Silver drops and valuable crafting material drops with an open layout that's easy to pull mobs through.

Don't force yourself into a zone that's technically higher-value but too dangerous for your current gear — a zone you can clear quickly and safely almost always beats a "better" zone where you're spending half your time recovering from near-deaths.

AoE Classes Farm Fastest

Because Silver drops per kill and farming efficiency is fundamentally about kills-per-minute, classes built around area-of-effect damage have a real, measurable advantage for dedicated Silver farming. Archer builds like Ranger and Fletcher are popular specifically for their AoE spam capability, letting you clear mob packs in a fraction of the time single-target classes need — though be ready to burn through SP potions faster on longer farming sessions as a trade-off.

Clerics don't farm as efficiently solo, but they're in high demand for coordinated group farming parties thanks to their healing kit, which can let a group sustain a farming pace that would wear down a solo player. If you enjoy group play, a support-oriented class isn't a bad Silver-farming choice either — just via a different mechanism (enabling a group's efficiency rather than your own solo clear speed).

Saalus Convent and Blessed Shards

Saalus Convent unlocks at level 240 and functions less like a traditional dungeon and more like a daily mission — each run is quick (often well under 15 minutes) and rewards cubes that can contain Blessed Shards, the currency used for weapon transcending. Blessed Shards carry real, consistent market value since transcending is a core late-game system every player eventually needs, making Saalus one of the more reliable Silver-adjacent income sources once you're geared enough to reach it.

Because Saalus format has changed with patches over the years (quick "missions" have been reworked before), check current in-game details on run length and rewards rather than assuming an older guide's exact numbers still apply.

Gesti Quests and Boss Farming

Extra quests involving fights against Gesti (a recurring major boss) let you farm the mobs that accompany the fight, and these mobs carry an unusually good drop rate on top of solid experience — a roughly half-hour farming session culminating in one of these quests can net a substantial amount of vendor-sellable loot, plus a chance at rarer item drops. These quests work best for players who've already reached a reasonably high level, since the surrounding mobs can be rough for undergeared characters.

Crafting and Repair Costs

A commonly overlooked fact about Tree of Savior: every class can craft at least some items, not just classes the game's own guides imply are "crafting classes" — you just need to acquire the relevant manual first. This opens up a Silver-making avenue to any build, not just dedicated crafters, though it requires an upfront investment in manuals and materials before it pays off.

On the expense side, repair costs quietly eat into Silver income more than new players expect, especially past level 200 when gear values climb. Picking up Repair Kits from events or the Mercenary Badge Shop when available, and avoiding over-repairing at player shops when a cheaper option exists, meaningfully extends how far your farmed Silver actually goes.

Timing the Player Market

Tree of Savior's player-driven market rewards patience for anything beyond common vendor trash — Blessed Shards, crafting materials and rare drops all fluctuate with server-wide supply, and dumping a large farmed stack all at once tends to crash the price you'd otherwise get. Spacing out sales, or farming toward a known upcoming demand spike (a new content patch that needs specific materials, for instance), generally nets more Silver than reflexively selling everything the moment you farm it.

This is especially true for Blessed Shards given their weapon-transcending demand — since virtually every serious player eventually needs them, their price tends to stay relatively stable, making them one of the safer items to hold onto briefly rather than dump immediately.

Keep an eye on server-specific pricing too — Tree of Savior's player markets can vary meaningfully between servers depending on population and how mature the economy is, so advice calibrated to one server's market doesn't always transfer directly to another.

Selling Your Silver Safely

If farming isn't for you, buying silver directly is the faster (if riskier) alternative — see our safety guide before doing so, and check current top-ranked sellers below.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the best zone to farm Silver in Tree of Savior?

It depends on your level — Tenet Church works well around levels 40-60, while Demon Prison District 2 is a strong pick around levels 100-150. Pick a zone you can clear quickly and safely over a technically higher-value zone that's too dangerous for your gear.

Does class choice matter for Silver farming?

Yes — AoE-focused classes like Ranger and Fletcher clear mob packs much faster than single-target classes, directly increasing Silver-per-hour. Clerics don't solo-farm as efficiently but are valuable in group farming parties.

What is Saalus Convent and when do I unlock it?

It unlocks at level 240 and functions like a quick daily mission rather than a traditional dungeon, rewarding Blessed Shards used for weapon transcending — a reliable Silver-adjacent income source once you're geared enough to reach it.
