Wartune Ultra Gold Farming Guide: City Income, Stamina & the Peak Arena Boost

Gold in Wartune Ultra is not farmed at a spot — it accrues from a routine. Your city produces it while you sleep, your stamina converts into it on campaign, missions and idle rewards drip it daily, and once a week the Peak Arena can switch on a server-wide Gold Production boost. This guide also flags a trap up front: most “Wartune gold” numbers online describe the 2012 browser game, not Ultra.

Read This First: Ultra Is Not the Browser Game

The famous Wartune farm tables are for a different game. The legacy wiki’s seed prices and yields (Gold Seeds, Daru Seeds, harvest times) document the original 2012 browser Wartune. Wartune Ultra is 7Road’s current mobile/PC game — a hero-collection RPG with a city builder — and those tables do not apply to it. Ultra-specific documentation is thinner, so this guide sticks to systems the Ultra sources actually describe, and says so where a number simply isn’t published.

Know the currency stack before farming any of it. Gold is the earned workhorse — it pays for hero upgrades, gear enhancement and city construction. Balens are the premium currency and Star Coins the top-up token that converts into them: the official rate JollyMax publishes is 10 Star Coins = 100 Balens = $0.99. Gold itself is not sold — it is produced, which is what the rest of this guide is about.

Your City Is the Farm

Ultra’s city is an income generator, not a cosmetic hub. Your Mines produce gold and your Farms, Barracks and Workshops produce their own resources, all on timers, all upgradeable — and higher building levels produce more per cycle. BlueStacks’ Ultra guides give the same advice from both ends: prioritize the buildings that boost gold and resource production, keep one upgrade running at all times because timers grow long at higher levels, and log in a few times a day to collect output and restart production rather than letting finished buildings sit idle.

This is also where gold quietly leaks: every hero level, gear enhancement and construction job draws on the same wallet, and the standing advice from the same guides is to reserve gold and enhancement materials for your core team instead of spreading them across every hero you summon. Passive income only compounds if you stop spending it on bench heroes.

Stamina: The Daily Conversion

Active gold comes from spending stamina. Campaign stages and dungeons pay gold, gear and enhancement materials per run, and the discipline the Ultra guides repeat is simple: never log out with stamina unspent — burn it on campaign or dungeon content first, because capped stamina is production thrown away. Stamina refills come from daily-task and time-limited rewards, from redeem codes (below), and from packs: JollyMax’s strategy guide gives the Monthly Pass example as enough refills for roughly three extra campaign runs a day, which is the honest scale of what a pass buys — more conversions, not a different economy.

Where to point the runs: campaign progression first, because advancing stages unlocks better-paying content and feeds account EXP (the leveling guide covers that side), then dungeons for the specific gear and materials your core team needs. Double-drop event windows are the exception to every routine — BlueStacks’ advice is to plan sessions around them and stockpile materials while they run.

Missions, Idle Rewards, Guild: The Daily Drips

The Peak Arena Boost: Server-Wide Gold Weather

The one gold mechanic in Ultra that rewards other people’s play: version 4.1’s Peak Arena Ladder Tournament is a cross-server 3v3 ladder in two phases. The Elite Match runs two one-hour sessions a day, and the top 12 teams in the final Elite rankings qualify for the Peak Match — single-elimination battles at 20:00 every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Per the official 4.1 notes, every player on each ranked team’s server receives a temporary Gold Production boost based on the final rankings — your city’s gold output rises because your server’s teams placed, whether or not you fought.

Participation pays its own currency regardless: Ladder Coins are earned from the Elite Match, the Peak Match and the prediction event, and are spent in the Ladder Shop. The farming takeaway is timing — when your server is carrying a Gold Production boost, that is the window to push city upgrades and gold-heavy enhancement sessions, because the same routine pays more until the boost lapses.

Redeem Codes: Small, Free, Expiring

Ultra’s gift codes are a documented trickle worth the thirty seconds they take. Code listings (ChapterCheats’ running list is representative) show recent codes each bundling a Sack of Gold alongside items like gem packs, Enhanced Bounty Scrolls, Luck Stones, Bound Balens and stamina potions — one listed code pairs its Sack of Gold with an Extreme Stamina Potion, which is two farming inputs in one redemption. Redemption runs through Hot Events → Event Prizes, with rewards landing in your mail.

The honest caveats: codes are short-lived and single-use per account, listings age fast, and no code is a strategy. Treat them as a login bonus you have to remember to claim — check for fresh ones after patches and events, redeem immediately, and funnel the windfall into your core team rather than spreading it.

Buying Balens (Gold Itself Isn’t Sold)

There is no gold top-up to buy — the purchasable layer is Balens and Star Coins, delivered to your User ID by official and third-party sellers, and the trap that matters is the server group: a top-up bought for the wrong group (EST, CET or SGT) cannot be moved. Rates, official partners and the scam red flags are covered in How to Buy Wartune Ultra Balens Safely, sellers are compared on the Wartune Ultra page, and the progression half of the routine is our Wartune Ultra leveling guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you buy gold in Wartune Ultra?

No. Gold is an earned currency — produced by your city, paid by missions, campaign and idle rewards. What money buys is Balens (and Star Coins, which convert at the official 10 Star Coins = 100 Balens rate). Anyone selling “gold” for Ultra is selling account services, not a currency delivery.

What is the best gold source in Wartune Ultra?

City production is the backbone because it runs while you are offline — upgrade your gold-producing buildings (Mines first) and collect several times a day. The biggest temporary multiplier is the Peak Arena’s server-wide Gold Production boost, which lands on every player on a ranked team’s server.

Do the Wartune Wiki farm seed tables work in Ultra?

No. Those tables (Gold Seeds, Daru Seeds, harvest yields) document the original 2012 browser game. Ultra has its own city-production system; the legacy numbers were never published for it and should not be planned around.

What are Ladder Coins in Wartune Ultra?

The Peak Arena’s currency, added in version 4.1. You earn them in the Elite Match, the Peak Match and the prediction event, and spend them in the Ladder Shop. The same tournament’s final rankings also grant the temporary server-wide Gold Production boost.
