DC: Dark Legion Leveling Guide: Roster First, Base Second, Events Always

DC: Dark Legion’s leveling is a collection climb: a champion roster that grows event by event, and a base that grows behind it. The milestones are arrivals — Supergirl in June 2026, Dick Grayson’s Robin in September — and the calendar between them is events. This guide walks that structure as the official record describes it, and places Planet Coins where they belong: the accelerant for the roster, never a substitute for playing the events that define it.

Read This First: The Roster Is the Progression

Progress in Dark Legion is who you have and what your base does. Champion arrivals headline the game’s updates — the current client is v2.2.23 — and Planet Coins serve the roster, not the other way round. The top-up itself (SEAGM, UID only) is covered in our buying guide.

A scope note on dates: this guide is written against the autumn 2026 state of the game — Echoes of the Batcave (September 18–26, 2026) is the most recent headline event and v2.2.23 (stamped October 2, 2026) the current client. Autumn 2025’s event cycle, which older guides describe, is last year’s game; do not plan against it.

Track One: The Champion Roster

Build the roster around the arrival calendar. FunPlus times its headline champions to licensed moments: Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow ran June 25 to July 1, 2026 (Supergirl plus the Kara’s Spaceship base skin, per FunPlus’ own announcement), and Batman Day brought Dick Grayson as Robin in late September 2026. A roster planned around arrivals — resources held for the champions you actually want — outprogresses one spent evenly across every banner.

The in-event activities are progression too, not decoration: Echoes of the Batcave’s Drop Target Drills, Batarang gifting and Batscanner tasks are the event’s own reward tracks. Finishing an event’s tracks is worth more, per hour, than repeating ordinary play beside it.

Track Two: The Base

The base is the second, quieter track: it converts time into capacity, and event pieces (Kara’s Spaceship arrived as a base skin with the Supergirl event) mark its milestones. Keep the base moving in step with the roster — a roster that outgrows its base stalls on capacity, and a base that outgrows its roster is a warehouse.

Planet Coins touch both tracks, which is exactly why the buying guide insists on named sinks: a pack attached to a champion arrival or a base piece is progression; a pack attached to nothing is a balance waiting to be spent badly.

Playing the Calendar

Work it in order. Before an event: hold premium currency and finish the current tracks. During: clear the event’s own activities first — they expire — and let ordinary play fill the gaps. After: take stock of the roster the event left you with, and set the next arrival you are saving for. The game’s own rhythm (a June headline, a September headline) suggests the cadence to plan against.

And keep the client current: v2.2.23 is the build the current events assume, and version stamps in this game move with the event cycle.

Buying Progress

Nothing bought replaces an event played: arrivals are time-limited and their tracks are the progression. Planet Coins — the one verified route is SEAGM’s UID top-up, in our buying guide — accelerate the roster and base around the events. The earning side is in our Planet Coins farming guide. See the DC: Dark Legion page for the reviewed market.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you progress in DC: Dark Legion?

On two tracks: the champion roster, grown event by event (Supergirl in June 2026, Dick Grayson’s Robin in September), and the base behind it. Events are the milestones — play their own activity tracks before they expire.

What is the current DC: Dark Legion version?

v2.2.23, stamped October 2, 2026. Its headline event was Echoes of the Batcave, the Batman Day 2026 event that ran September 18–26, 2026.

Do Planet Coins level you up faster?

They accelerate the roster and base — the two progression tracks — but they do not replace the events that define them. Buy against named sinks: a champion arrival or a base piece, never an unnamed balance.

When did DC: Dark Legion launch?

March 2025, from FunPlus. It is still in a high-growth phase, with headline licensed events through autumn 2026.
