Read This First: Three Tracks, Three Fuels
Keep the tracks apart and the game stops being confusing. Hunter Level is account progression: EXP from daily and weekly tasks and the main storyline, per Gamezebo’s leveling guide. Memory level is combat power: Memories are the cards you equip before battle, and upgrading them raises both their stats and the Affinity of the companion pictured, per Pocket Gamer’s beginner guide. Affinity (companionship) is the relationship track: GameRant’s affinity guide lists its rewards — poses, decorations, Secret Times tracks, avatars, Diamonds, titles, BGMs and accessories among them. Progress in one track does not substitute for another.
Hunter Level: EXP, the Daily Cap and Carryover
Gamezebo’s guide is direct about the engine: the daily and weekly task sets “reward you with plenty of EXP”, and working through the main storyline adds more — an actively played account levels its Hunter Level simply by doing its Agenda. Later content is locked behind Hunter Level milestones, so the Agenda is progression, not chores.
The one mechanic to understand is the cap: Gamezebo notes the Hunter Level is capped each day to pace progression — but “the EXP you earn after reaching the daily level cap is carried over to your Hunter Level the next day, so you don’t lose out on anything”. Overflow EXP is banked, not wasted, which makes heavy play days safe and light days the only real loss. The beginner guides add that below level 55, development milestones grant Wishes — early Hunter levels literally pay in pulls.
Memories: Levels, Ascension and Stellactrums
Memories are levelled with Bottles of Wishes and Gold, and the level is not a straight line: Pocket Gamer’s beginner guide states that once a Memory reaches level 10 you must ascend it before it can be upgraded further, using crystals matching the Memory’s stone — its example is ruby crystals for a ruby Memory, the six Stellactrum colours (Amber, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Violet, Pearl in the beginner guides’ listing). The ascension crystals and Bottles of Wishes are farmed in the Bounty Hunt battles that unlock as the story progresses, and Bottles also arrive as check-in rewards.
Two disciplines follow. First, build around Stellactrums: a paired set of Memories sharing a stone synergises for bonus boosts, and a Memory’s Protocore loadout should match its Protofield Stellactrum. Second, Protocores are the gear layer on top of level: farmed in Core Hunt, equipped into slots the Memory opens as it levels, and the difference between a levelled Memory and a finished one in the Deepspace Trials. Level the Memories of one companion team properly before spreading Bottles across the whole box.
Affinity: The Track the Game Is About
GameRant’s affinity guide gives the full action list, and its shape is the lesson: almost everything you do with a companion counts. Level up, rank up and ascend his Memories. Answer his phone messages; take his voice and video calls. Like, comment on and share his Moments posts. Listen to his Tender Moments and Secret Times; watch his Bond, Memoria and Myth stories; read his Anecdotes. Take photos together at the Photo Studio, go on Playtime dates, complete his Directional Orbit (Deepspace Trial) challenges, interact with him on the home screen, collect his outfits — and simply obtain his Memories by Wishing, because drawing his cards is itself Affinity.
The gates make it progression, not decoration: Myth stories, for example, require the companion’s Affinity to reach level 30 (Darling) before the Myth Memory you pulled can be viewed. A Hunter who only battles will hit story walls that a Hunter who dates does not — the two tracks are designed to be climbed together, and the Diamond guide shows how much of this content pays currency back as you climb.
A Sensible Leveling Order
- Finish the daily and weekly Agenda every day — it is Hunter EXP, Diamonds and Promise Points in one pass, and overflow EXP banks against the daily cap.
- Push the main story: it pays first-clear Diamonds, unlocks Bounty Hunt and Core Hunt, and feeds Hunter Level.
- Concentrate Bottles of Wishes on one companion’s core Memory team; ascend at the level gates with the matching Stellactrum crystals rather than hoarding them.
- Farm Core Hunt for Protocores once the team is levelled, matching each Protocore to its Memory’s Stellactrum.
- Do the Affinity actions daily — messages, calls, Moments, a date — because Affinity gates story content that no amount of battling unlocks.
Buying Leveling & Accounts
There is no legitimate leveling market for this game, and Infold’s terms say why in so many words: §3.5 prohibits providing your account to others for commercial activities “such as… game leveling”. A piloted boost is that clause’s named example. The legitimate accelerant is Crystals on your own account, covered in our buying guide. See the Love and Deepspace page for the reviewed market.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the fastest way to raise Hunter Level?
Do the Agenda and the story. Daily and weekly tasks are the largest schedulable EXP source per Gamezebo, story clears add more, and EXP earned past the daily cap carries over to the next day rather than being lost — so no session is wasted.
Why is my Memory stuck at level 10?
It needs Ascension. Per Pocket Gamer’s beginner guide, a Memory reaching level 10 must be ascended before further upgrades, using crystals matching its Stellactrum colour (ruby crystals for a ruby Memory). The crystals and the Bottles of Wishes for levelling are farmed in Bounty Hunt battles.
How do you raise Affinity fast?
Stack the small actions daily — messages, calls, Moments interactions, home-screen taps — on top of the big ones: levelling and ascending his Memories, reading his stories and Anecdotes, listening to his Tender Moments and Secret Times, Photo Studio sessions, Playtime dates and his Directional Orbit trials, per GameRant’s list. Obtaining his Memories by Wishing also counts.
What are Protocores and where do they come from?
Protocores are the equippable gear layer for Memories, farmed in Core Hunt stages and slotted into a Memory as it levels. Match a Protocore to the Memory’s Stellactrum for its synergy bonuses; they are the endgame difference in Deepspace Trial content once levels and Ascension are done.
