Release and Season Dates
Madden NFL 27 launched worldwide on August 13, 2026, with early access from August 6, according to Timesaver’s Season 1 guide. Season 1 ended on September 9, 2026 at 6:30 a.m. ET, and Season 2 started the same moment.
Unclaimed Field Pass rewards are lost when a season ends, so claim them before each season rolls over.

- Solo Challenges: the lower-variance way to clear objectives.

Season Tickets
Season Tickets are a free, play-to-earn currency from Field Pass levels, challenges and events, spent in the Season Store on packs or upgrade materials. Timesaver says unspent Season 1 tickets carried over into Season 2, so there is no need to spend them on weak offers before a season ends.
Evos, the Ultimate Captain and Chemistry
Timesaver’s no-money-spent guide covers the three upgrade systems:
- Evos: raise a player’s maximum overall, add abilities or chemistry options. A Preseason Standouts Evo lifts a lower-rated player to 82 overall.
- Ultimate Captain: one core card you keep all season and upgrade through Evos and Skill Points earned from objectives tied to that card. EZG adds that any player rated 70 to 82 (except a long snapper) can be a captain, with up to 100 Skill Points and an 83 overall cap at the time it wrote.
- Team chemistry: Crystal items boost the whole lineup until October 21, 2026, and a 32x Team Chemistry Evo cannot be chained with the Ultimate Captain Evo.
