What Blocks an Upgrade
Each level needs other buildings first. The guide lists, for example, an Embassy at 8 for Furnace 9, a Marksman Camp at 9 and a Research Center for Furnace 10, and Embassy and Marksman Camp at 29 for Furnace 30. After 30, Fire Crystal levels FC1 to FC5 begin: FC1 needs the Embassy and Research Center at 30, and each later FC level needs the Embassy and one troop camp at the previous FC level.
Stack Your Build Speed
- Double Time in the Chief’s House cuts build time by 20% for five minutes, once a day. Stack it with a big upgrade.
- Tooling Up in the Tech Center gives up to 27.8% construction speed at max.
- Zinman cuts upgrade time and resource costs by up to 15% with his skills; unlock him early.

Save speed-ups from dailies and events and spend them during events that reward building.
