    Level 75 and the Combat EXP rework

    • The level cap rises from 70 to 75, with extra stats for every level from 70.
    • Combat EXP needed for every level range is lower, each monster kill now has a level-based EXP cap, and Monster Zone Info shows the EXP per kill.
    • A new Combat Secret Book gives EXP after Black Shrine, Guild Bosses, the Altar of Blood and PvP.
    For buyers

    A higher level cap sends players back to grinding spots, which raises demand for gear upgrades and silver.

  2. Content update

    Edania Part 2

    • Opens Edania's inner region with six new hunting grounds and four new bosses with weekly challenge quests.
    • Max level set to 70 (raised to 75 on October 7).
    • Two new accessory lines, Ekleta and Apeiron, and the Throne of Edana PvP content.

  3. New class

    Agent

    • The Agent, Black Desert's 32nd class, a precision marksman, launched on PC with its Succession; the Awakening is planned for winter.
    • Consoles got the class on August 6.

    Edania

    • Edania opened on all servers during Gamescom 2025, with the main story The Society of the Equilibrium for level 60 and up.
    • Seven side questlines, weekly PvE challenges and a PvP challenge after the regional boss.
    • New areas Azure Battlefield, Nymphamare Castle and Orbita Castle, each with its own boss, plus new gear and artifacts.
