EA Sports FC Mobile Patch Notes History

FC Mobile 27 UpdateLatestSeptember 24, 2026
Gauntlet Mode + Game Plans
- The FC Mobile 27 Update (EA’s official patch notes on ea.com, dated September 24, 2026) is the annual season update: it added Gauntlet Mode, a PvE challenge mode of escalating rounds with unique objectives, traits and “house rule” modifiers such as Hot Zone, Position Hero and No Rules — player items have limited appearances per run, forcing squad rotation.
- A new Game Plans system merges formation and mentality into one dynamic tactical framework: up to four formation combinations across five mentality tiers, from Ultra Defensive to Ultra Attacking, switchable mid-match with automatic player repositioning.
- Two new PlayStyles arrived — Incisive Through Pass (more accurate, leading ground through passes) and Dead Ball (revamped free kicks with greater bend and precision) — alongside a refreshed visual presentation across the gameplay HUD, loading screens and player indicators, and gameplay tuning including improved finesse-shot foot selection, header accuracy and goalkeeper positioning at direct free kicks.
- The cadence is one major season update each September, with smaller in-season updates and event content in between; no newer ea.com patch-notes article had been published between September 24 and our October 21 check.
For buyers
Season resets are FC Mobile’s repricing event: Game Plans change which player items fit a squad, Gauntlet’s appearance limits reward deep benches over a single stacked XI, and the two new PlayStyles revalue the cards that carry them — check a squad’s depth, not just its headline ratings.
