Punishing: Gray Raven Patch Notes History

Version 4.8LatestSeptember 24, 2026
Anchored in Faith
- Version 4.8, “Anchored in Faith”, launched September 24, 2026 (per Kuro Games’ official store “What’s New” text and the preview-livestream coverage): the headline debut is S-Rank Adelyde: Anabasis, the first of the new Overlinker frame class, with her 6-star weapon Unforsaken Beacon, 6-star Memory “Pesanteur” and CUB Kelpie. Google Play’s listing has since moved to build 4.8.2 (October 16 update) carrying the same Anchored in Faith notes.
- The Date A Live V collaboration launched September 29 inside the same patch: S-Rank collab character Kurumi Tokisaki, her 6-star weapon Hour & Minute and the Otherworld Armament Zafkiel.
- A new main story chapter, “Anchored in Faith”, the collab story “Dream of Stagnant Cycle” and a Journal of Promise affection chapter for Adelyde round out the narrative content — and Adelyde herself is obtainable free via the new Service Shop / Service Mission system during the patch.
- New events include Wrathful Monsoon boss stages, Circuit Calculus, Overclock Simulation and Wreck-It Huhu, plus new and rerun coatings (Calamity’s End, Fading Reverie, Ember Ceremony). New versions land roughly every five to six weeks.
For buyers
Two different value clocks run in this patch: Adelyde is free through Service Missions while 4.8 runs, so accounts charging a premium for her are selling time, not rarity — while the Date A Live V collab unit, Kurumi Tokisaki, is the limited piece whose value sets in once the collab window closes.
