What the Rules Say
The platform layer is where the restriction sits: Roblox’s terms cover real-money sales of game content outside Roblox’s own systems, and its trading guidance is explicit that it cannot undo deals made outside its features. The game layer is permissive by design — bundles can be gifted, items change hands in game — which is why the market exists at all.
The practical consequence is about recourse: the handover in game is the game’s own mechanic, the money around it is your own risk, and a marketplace with buyer protection (Eldorado’s TradeShield, PlayerAuctions’ PlayerGuardian, G2G’s GamerProtect) is the only arbitration a real-money deal here will ever get. Account sales sit a step further out: prohibited outright, and a credential transfer by nature.
The Official Routes
Inside the game, Keys and bundles are bought in the shop for Robux — marketplace listing titles quote the Ultra Key Bundle at 2,199 Robux and the Legendary at 4,999 Robux — and play pays a trickle through Daily Tasks, Prize Wheels and Login Rewards, covered in our Keys farming guide. The verified outside routes are three. Eldorado (4.1/5 on MMODude) publishes its own marketplace ranges: Key Bundle $0.50 to $1, Mega $1 to $2, Super $2.30 to $4, Ultra $11 to $16, Legendary $27 to $38, Skin Cases $1.20 to $2, delivered by meeting the seller in game under TradeShield. PlayerAuctions (4.3/5) sellers gift Key Bundles under PlayerGuardian — the Super seen at $3.72, the Legendary at $31.61, with 20-minute delivery promises. G2G (4.1/5) carries RIVALS inside its Roblox items market: the 1,100-key Legendary bundle showed 18 offers from $24.67 (1,842 sold on the category listing), the 450 Ultra from $12.20, Skin Case 1 from $1.36.
What Can Go Wrong
- Accounts are the sharp edge. Eldorado’s RIVALS accounts are pitched on discontinued skins (Keyper, from the Update 5 and 6 bundles) and deliver by credential handover: you receive the login details and change them. The original owner remains the account’s recovery risk, and Roblox prohibits account sales — a ban or a recovery takes the skins with the account.
- Bundle arithmetic. The same named bundle trades at three verified prices (Legendary: $27–$38 on Eldorado’s ranges, $31.61 on PA, from $24.67 on G2G) against a 4,999-Robux shop anchor. A listing far under all four numbers is not a bargain signal; it is a question.
- Event-window pricing. Event stock (Update 24’s Spooky Prize Wheel cosmetics) is time-limited supply; prices inside the window price scarcity that the next event reprints or replaces. Do not pay a permanent premium for a seasonal skin.
- The handover is a meeting. Gift and meet deliveries require you online, on the right account, confirming the exact bundle in the trade before accepting — after the handover, Roblox cannot reverse it.
Red Flags to Avoid
- Any seller who asks for your Roblox password to deliver Keys, cases or bundles — all three verified flows deliver by gift or meet on your username.
- “Generated” or duplicated Keys, or a “farming method” sold as a product — the game’s economy has no such thing; Keys come from bundles, wheels and rewards.
- Account listings that cannot name the discontinued skins they are priced on (Keyper above all).
- Prices far under the verified anchors (Legendary bundle: $24.67–$38 across three vendors) from a seller pushing the deal off the marketplace.
- Listings that name Marvel Rivals stock — a different game, with nothing transferable to this one.
Buying Checklist
- Decide what you are buying first: Keys/cases (traded goods) or a whole account (a credential handover) — the shelves, the maths and the risks differ completely.
- Benchmark the named bundle across all three wires and the shop: Eldorado’s published ranges, PA’s gift shelf, G2G’s grouped offers, and the Robux anchor (Ultra 2,199R; Legendary 4,999R).
- For goods: leave your username in the order notes, meet or accept the gift on the account that will hold the items, and confirm the exact bundle before accepting.
- For accounts: take full control immediately — change the credentials and recovery details in the same session — and weigh it against buying the skins as goods where they trade.
- Keep payment inside the marketplace checkout and keep the order records.
The Safe Alternatives
