Grow a Garden 2 launched on Roblox on June 12, 2026 (AllThings.How) as a separate experience from the original. GosuGamers reports it passed 400,000 concurrent players within 20 minutes of release. Everything below is for Grow a Garden 2; the original game uses different prices.

Mutations Are the Real Money
Eldorado says mutated crops often sell for more than 15 times their base price, and that mutations do not stack. Weather drives them. Its day and night odds:

The two guides disagree on values: Eldorado lists the Blood Moon’s Bloodlit mutation at 60x, while GGWTB reports about 10x for Bloodlit, about 15x for Gold, 25x to 80x for Electric and about 50x for Star Struck. Treat these as rough guides that change with patches.
Pets That Pay
- Deer: plants grow 10% faster (Eldorado); GGWTB calls it the main farming pet.
- Golden Firefly or Dragonfly: better Gold mutation chance.
- Unicorn: doubles the Rainbow mutation chance, for late-game farms.
- Monkey: picks fruit and gives it to you.
GosuGamers notes there is no egg shop in Grow a Garden 2: pets spawn around the map for a short time and you buy and claim them during that window.

- Daily Deal: once a day, Sam’s shop boosts one crop type by 2x to 10x (Eldorado). Save it for a mutated harvest.
- Friends in the server: each friend adds about 10% to everyone’s sell price (both guides), so six friends add about 60%.
- Bargain: GGWTB and GosuGamers describe negotiating at the sell shop before a big sale.
- Double or Nothing: a 50% chance to double the sale or lose the whole stock (Eldorado). Avoid it with a valuable harvest.
Night Raids and Buying Items
At night other players can enter your garden and steal crops unless you are inside your plot, according to GosuGamers; defensive crops and staying home protect a valuable harvest. Eldorado calls stealing the least profitable activity because it leaves your own garden open.
Item shops deliver by in-game trade or gift. Roblox says it cannot reverse deals made outside its official features, so start small; the Grow a Garden page lists the shops we have reviewed.
