How the Methods Fit Together
Most of the list is one loop with two add-ons:
- Hunt and collect, then sell what you do not need for gear at the Provisions Stockpile. This is Game8's top-rated method.
- Add the Bandit Mantle once you finish Redefining The Power Couple, so large monsters can drop golden material.
- Run Investigations with a Lucky Voucher when you want more rewards, and Game8 says to do it solo for full rewards.
The remaining entries are side routes that each need a specific unlock, as the table shows.
What Iceborne Changed
Wikipedia (Reported) says Iceborne launched on September 6, 2019 on PS4 and Xbox One and on January 9, 2020 on Windows. It added Master Rank as a third hunter rank and the Guiding Lands. Fatalis arrived in October 2020 as the final major update. Wikipedia describes the expansion as nearly equal in content size to the original game.
