Read This First: Three Wallets, No Published Rates
Moonlight Blade’s global servers shut down in May 2026 — see our Moonlight Blade status page. This guide documents the game’s economy as it operated while live; anyone still “selling” Moonlight Blade currency is selling into a closed game.
No source — official or community — ever published a Silver-per-hour rate for Moonlight Blade, so this guide will not invent one. What is documented is the structure. Silver is the main earned currency, paid by quests and events and spent on the gear work that drives your power. Tickets are the premium currency: an official event notice prices its Secret Treasure Gift Boxes at 100, 380, 580 and 780 tickets in ascending tiers. Bound Tickets and Bound Vouchers are the non-tradeable twins, handed out free by events and systems — the same notice lists a free round reward of 100 Bound Tickets, and the wiki prices the class-changing School Transfer Gift Box at 4,500 Bound Vouchers. Farm Silver for progression; treat bound currency as a slow second income that is genuinely worth collecting.
Quests: The Income Engine
The game sorts its questing into three streams, and together they are the baseline Silver income. The Main Quest carries the storyline and, per community guide coverage, the richest rewards — it “brings up all the missions related to the storyline” and pays in-game resources as you go. The Jianghu and Adventure streams sit alongside it, covering the game’s other features and modes, and pay resources and character growth of their own.
The practical rule every guide converges on: never let the Main Quest sit idle. Side content in Moonlight Blade supplements the story’s payouts rather than replacing them, and because the Main Quest also gates your level (see the leveling guide), an account that keeps it moving is richer in both EXP and Silver than one that wanders. Adventures are the filler of choice when the story walls you — they pay EXP and materials while you build the power to push through.
Careers: The Vigor Economy
Moonlight Blade’s most distinctive farming system is its seven Careers — Bounty Hunter, Chef, Constable, Escort Master, Ranger, Scholar and Skystar, per the community wiki. Careers are vocations with their own levels: their tasks hand over materials that feed your character’s growth, and raising a Career unlocks bonus buffs, items and outfits.
Career work is throttled by Vigor. The wiki documents the loop precisely: Vigor refills daily at server reset, and a Vigor Pill restores 250 Vigor, limited to 15 uses per week with an overall accumulation cap of 30 uses. That makes Vigor a budget, not a suggestion — spend it daily rather than banking it, because the reset refill is use-it-or-lose-it, and save pills for weeks when a Career material you actually need is on your upgrade path.
Events: Where the Big Documented Silver Lives
The largest single Silver figures attached to Moonlight Blade come from official event notices. VNG’s “Treasure in City” event sold four tiers of Secret Treasure Gift Box, and the published reward tables pay Silver in bulk:
| Gift box tier | Ticket price | Silver paid |
|---|---|---|
| Secret Treasure Giftbox -1 | 100 | 100,000 |
| Secret Treasure Giftbox -2 | 380 | 150,000 |
| Secret Treasure Giftbox -3 | 580 | 200,000 |
| Secret Treasure Giftbox -4 | 780 | 300,000 |
Read that table the right way: events converted premium spending into Silver at published rates, and the same notice’s free round reward was 100 Bound Tickets — the genuinely free slice. The boxes also paid the progression materials Silver normally buys (Lv.6 Refinement material, Masterforging and Forging Element items, partner equipment blueprints), which is why events mattered to farmers even beyond the coin: they compressed weeks of material income into one rotation. Limited-time events were the game’s payday; the quest-and-career loop was its wage.
Duplicates & Bound Voucher Trickles
Bound Vouchers also arrived from housekeeping. INFIPLAY’s official maintenance notes record that using a duplicate Curio — Bubble (Handheld Balloon) now correctly reports it as collected, and that “the Sell function remains available, and you can still receive 680 bound vouchers for the sale.” Duplicate cosmetics were therefore not dead inventory — they were a bound-currency payout at a published rate.
Set that against the wiki’s 4,500-Bound-Voucher price for the School Transfer Gift Box and the economy’s shape is clear: bound currency trickled in from events and duplicate sales, and pooled toward big bound-store purchases. Farmers who ignored the trickle paid cash for what patience would have covered.
Where the Silver Goes
- Gear work first. The documented material ladder — Refinement materials, Forging Elements, Masterforging gifts, Supreme Mastery items — is what Silver income ultimately fed, and it is the spend that raises the power every other system checks.
- Partner equipment. Official event rewards include Supreme Partner Equipment Blueprints; partners are a real power layer (leveling guide), and their gear draws on the same wallet.
- Guild and group play. Guild Merit Orders appear in the same official reward tables — guild activity and its currencies ran alongside personal income, not instead of it.
- Keep a reserve. Because event boxes priced in tickets paid out in Silver, a healthy Silver balance was also event readiness: players who arrived broke watched the best documented payouts pass by.
Buying Moonlight Blade Currency & Accounts
There is nothing legitimate left to buy. With the servers shut down in May 2026, there is no live game for currency, items or accounts to exist in, and any site still listing Moonlight Blade stock is listing a fiction. Our Moonlight Blade page is kept as a status record for exactly that reason — read it before believing any seller who claims otherwise.
Frequently Asked Questions
What was the main farmable currency in Moonlight Blade?
Silver. It was paid by the Main, Jianghu and Adventure quest streams, supplemented by the seven Vigor-gated Careers, and paid out in bulk by official events — VNG’s published Treasure in City tables paid 100,000 to 300,000 Silver per gift box tier. Tickets were the premium currency; Bound Tickets and Bound Vouchers were their free, non-tradeable variants.
How did you get Bound Vouchers for free?
Slowly, from systems rather than grinding: official events listed free round rewards such as 100 Bound Tickets, and INFIPLAY’s maintenance notes confirm selling a duplicate Curio (the Bubble handheld balloon) paid 680 bound vouchers. The reference spend was the School Transfer Gift Box at 4,500 Bound Vouchers, per the community wiki.
What is Vigor in Moonlight Blade?
The energy that gates Career tasks. The community wiki documents that Vigor refills daily at server reset, and a Vigor Pill restores 250 Vigor with a limit of 15 uses per week (30 accumulated). With seven Careers — Bounty Hunter, Chef, Constable, Escort Master, Ranger, Scholar, Skystar — daily Vigor discipline was a real income decision.
Can you still play or buy Moonlight Blade?
No. The global servers shut down in May 2026 and the game is no longer playable, so no legitimate currency or account market exists. Any seller still offering Moonlight Blade gold, items or accounts should be treated as a scam — see our Moonlight Blade status page.
