The Purveyor, Reforged Coin & Store Updates
- A new Bonus Merchant, the Purveyor, arrived on August 26 in Ascalon City, Lion's Arch, Kaineng Center, Kamadan and the Great Temple of Balthazar, selling account upgrades including infinite identification and salvage kits ($9.99) and the Purveyor's Bell ($6.99), which summons him in explorable areas and pays out one Reforged Coin a day.
- A September 1 skill balance pass adjusted skills across professions, including Mirage Cloak, Focused Shot and Soul Twisting.
- On September 30 the Reforged Coin rules loosened: the Purveyor now holds daily coins for up to three days so a missed day no longer loses them, alongside a new Infinite Stalker's Ration and Bird's Eye Compass bundle ($9.99) and controller and mobile targeting improvements.
- An October 22 update added the Guise of the Wayward costume to the store ahead of Mad King's Day — the first completely new art asset shipped through ArenaNet's new asset pipeline — simplified the in-game store with more browsing categories, fixed held bundles sometimes not dropping on teleport, and improved joystick movement on mobile, gamepads and Steam Deck.
No player-trading rules changed; the market-side news is the new Reforged Coin economy around the Purveyor's account upgrades. ArenaNet also ends support for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 on November 18, 2026.
