Terrain Shaping and Performance Overhaul
- Major Update 1.2.0.1 brought a CPU-focused optimization pass reporting 50% to 100% FPS improvements in tested scenarios, on top of a completed new graphics engine intended to support deeper optimization in future updates.
- A dynamic terrain shaping system lets players dig and reshape terrain around Altar areas, with terrain painting and grass editing tools; Explosive Arrows can deform terrain during raids, applied gradually to prevent abuse.
- Zenith rewards were boosted sharply — the chance of obtaining Tera from Zenith rewards rose 6x and Action Point gains 20x — alongside shadow and lighting fixes including the night-time shadow flicker in some cities.
Faster Zenith rewards mean Tera and Action Points flow into the economy more quickly than before the patch, which softens what a stocked account’s currency reserves are worth; the terrain tools are groundwork for the coming Siege and Worker updates rather than anything tradable today.
