Silver Falls Pass & Blood River Canyon — Itemization Rework Phase I
- The September 17, 2026 patch notes add two brand-new Tier 3 story dungeons built with the team’s new Terrain Editor and lighting system — Silver Falls Pass (Order) and Blood River Canyon (Destruction), six bosses each for level 25+ players, opened September 18 — with optional Hard Modes awarding Champion’s Marks and a new Oathkeeper armor set dropping from bosses, per the official Return of Reckoning notes.
- Itemization Rework Phase I is complete: all sub-level-40 armor sets (Tiers 1–4) had their set bonuses recalculated to a flat stat budget, so a 2-piece and a 5-piece bonus now grant the same value of stats.
- The “March of the Greenskins” live event ran September 18–28: player kills dropped Teeth of Fallen Foes funding realm-wide Renown boosts of up to 50% (plus 50% more for escorting a Heroic Relic across three RvR maps), alongside a Rogue Idol open-RvR public quest and 26 event dyes.
- Warhammer’s 18th Anniversary RvR Weekly ran to September 28 with a commemorative “Spirit of WAR” cloak quest, and scenario matchmaking now builds the biggest match possible instead of settling for smaller ones; the notes target Phase II of the armor rework for the following October patch.
Phase I of the itemization rework flattened set bonuses across every sub-level-40 armor set, so leveling and twink gear is worth re-checking against the new stat budgets rather than pre-patch values — and the Oathkeeper set from the two new dungeons is the current chase drop for level 25+ characters.

We don't recommend it. Return of Reckoning is a free, volunteer-run private server with no official store or donations — real-money trading isn't something we'll point players toward for a project like this.
Is Return of Reckoning legal and safe to play?
It's a fan-made server for a game whose official service ended in 2013. It's been running since 2014 without issue, but it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Games Workshop or EA.
Why isn't Warhammer Online listed like other games on MMODude?
