Why the Town Center Comes First
The Kingshot.net beginner guide puts it simply: upgrade the Town Center above everything else, because its level gates every other building. Its suggested order after that is the Embassy, military buildings, the Academy for research, then resource buildings.

After 30: Truegold Levels
Past level 30 come four sub-stages (30-1 to 30-4), each needing 132 Truegold and 7 days, then Truegold levels TG1 to TG10. TG1 sub-stages need 158 Truegold and 9 days each; TG10 needs 175 Truegold, 140 Tempered and 20 days, and Tempered costs start at TG5 (KingshotGuide.org).
Speeding It Up
- Ask for Alliance Help on every upgrade.
- Save construction speedups for building events so they also score event points.
- Keep a builder working at all times.
