MU Immortal Has No Marketplace — and That Is the Story

Kingnet’s Webzen-licensed MU remake is a year and a half old, still patched, and played worldwide — yet not one major marketplace or top-up site carries it. MMODude now covers the game, and its page documents the empty market instead of inventing one.

Key points

  • Live checks on October 18, 2026 covered nine major sites — Eldorado, PlayerAuctions, G2G, SEAGM, LootBar, FunPay, Codashop, UniPin and JollyMax — and none of them has an MU Immortal category, top-up page or live listing.
  • Diamonds, the premium currency, are sold only as in-app purchases. There is no official web store and no authorised reseller.
  • The only real-money trade that exists is informal: gold and gear sellers running through Telegram groups and bot accounts in game chat, with no escrow or buyer protection.
  • Confusion is the biggest trap: SEAGM and Eneba do sell MU top-ups — for MU Origin 3, a different game from a different publisher.

The game

MU Immortal is a mobile remake of classic MU — Blood Castle, Castle Siege, wings, the Jewel of Bless upgrade economy — developed by Kingnet Technology under licence from Webzen, which licenses the MU name but does not operate this game. It launched globally on May 20, 2025 across more than 100 countries on Android and iOS, opened with the three classic classes (Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, Fairy Elf) plus Magic Gladiator, and added the Dark Lord in June 2025. It is still alive and still patched: the Android client was updated to v1.1.165 on September 21, 2026. Its MMODude game page is now live.

What we checked

Before adding the game we ran the same live verification we apply to every new page, and then repeated it in a browser on October 18, 2026. Eldorado’s search returns no MU Immortal category. PlayerAuctions’ game search answers “No matching results”. G2G’s search finds only a different game with a similar name. SEAGM replies “We could not find anything”. LootBar, Codashop and UniPin return no results, JollyMax suggests only unrelated titles, and FunPay — whose full game directory we read end to end — has no MU Immortal section at all. The single formal-marketplace trace ever indexed was one PlayerAuctions account listing filed under the wrong game, priced at $1,050 from a seller with no orders; it expired in January 2026. Seventeen months after launch, the organised market for this game simply does not exist.

Where the trading actually happens

The demand is real; it just never reached the marketplaces. Diamonds are sold only inside the app, so there is no top-up channel for a reseller to plug into — contrast MU Origin 3, which has authorised-style top-ups on SEAGM and Eneba because its publisher offers a recharge route. What fills the vacuum in MU Immortal is informal: a September 2026 Google Play review documents bot farmers advertising gold and set sales through Telegram groups inside game chat, and freelance posts openly recruit MU Immortal grind-bot scripts to farm accounts around the clock. That is a scam pattern, not a market — no escrow, no delivery guarantee, and a buyer’s only support channel is the same chat the seller spams.

What it means for players

Three rules cover almost every MU Immortal money question. If a website offers you Diamonds for this game, it is not an authorised seller, whatever its design claims — the only legitimate Diamond source is the in-app store. If a listing or top-up is labelled just “MU”, check which game it belongs to: Origin 3, Archangel and the original MU Online all have real markets, and none of them is this game. And if someone in game chat offers gold or a set through Telegram, you are looking at the bot economy, with all the risk that carries. Our game page states the same position, and we will wire real vendors the week any of them actually opens a category.

What it means for buyers

There is nothing to buy for MU Immortal outside the app itself — and on this site, an honest empty page beats a padded one.
