Key points
- Overgear, Skycoach, WowVendor and LootWoW all had WoW Forever gold listings on October 13; Overgear’s and Skycoach’s pages did not say whether it is beta gold.
- LootWoW labels its server “WoW Forever Gold Global (Beta)” and showed it out of stock; WowVendor marks its gold “Live on Beta”.
- ExpCarry’s “[Beta]” page says orders placed before release are reservations for delivery after the live servers open.
- Blizzard says beta characters do not carry over, and it has already removed bought gold from beta characters.
What is on sale
We checked the WoW Forever gold pages of sellers that MMODude already reviews on October 13, 2026. Overgear presents gold as available now for EU and US, every ruleset and both factions, delivered by face-to-face trade or mail with delivery starting within two hours. Skycoach lists in-stock offers with delivery times of 1 to 10 minutes; its FAQ gives the release as November 5, while Blizzard’s launch is November 4 at 3:00 p.m. PST. WowVendor groups its Forever gold under “Live on Beta” next to a long list of pre-orders, from PvP rank boosts to raid bundles. LootWoW names its server “WoW Forever Gold Global (Beta LVL1-60)” and showed it out of stock.
ExpCarry is the clearest: its page is labeled “[Beta]” but says orders placed before release are reservations for delivery after the live servers become available.
Why it matters
Beta characters and gold do not carry over to the November 4 launch, and the beta ends on October 21. Gold delivered to a beta character is gone within days. A pre-order is different: nothing is delivered until the live realms exist, so you are paying in advance for gold the seller does not have yet, at a price set before anyone knows what launch gold is worth.
Both carry Blizzard’s rules with them. Blizzard has said it will remove illicit gold from the recipient and can close accounts, and on October 8 it told TechRadar its penalties for gold buyers will escalate faster, up to permanent bans. In late September, a streamer’s bought beta gold was almost entirely wiped, Kotaku reported.
What it means for buyers
There is no reason to buy WoW Forever gold before launch: beta gold is wiped and a pre-order only moves your money to the seller early. MMODude will list reviewed Forever sellers only after November 4, once real listings can be checked. Until then our WoW Forever page tracks the news, and our gold farming guide covers earning it yourself.
