  1. Minor Update 10-14-2026Latest

    Baba Nerfs + Deadman Danny Buffs

    • Valve’s October 14, 2026 minor update nerfed Baba across the board: Baba’s Brew barrier cut from 100 to 90 with scaling down from 1.2 to 0.7, longer cooldowns on Threadsap, Granny Long Legs and Baba’s Brew, and a new -7% base bullet resistance.
    • Deadman Danny was the winner: base health up from 680 to 730, regen from 2.5 to 3.25, uncharged gun damage from 12 to 15, and buffs across Chimera Mk1, Strix Salvo and Close the Deal.
    • The City Never Sleeps hero rollout is closing out the patch cycle: Violet joined the roster in mid-October, with the final voted hero, Nurse Harrow, announced for October 20, 2026.
    For buyers

    There is no currency market at all — Deadlock is invite-only early development with no shop, so the account itself is the product: Steam accounts with access, hero pools and match history are what change hands, and balance passes like this one only move which heroes those accounts are wanted for.

    Rat King + Sinclair Balance Pass

    • The October 5, 2026 minor update reined in Rat King’s Rule, Ratannia! (cooldown up from 130 to 160, charge duration and damage reduction cut) while buffing Scrap Grenade damage and Rat Swarm’s cooldown, and nerfed Sinclair’s gun, Rabbit Hex and Audience Participation.
    • It also fixed a bug that was causing troopers to walk too slowly in lane.
