    Shiny Wars 2026

    • Shiny Wars 2026 ran August 1-28: a +10% wild-only Shiny bonus for all players, with seasons rotating every seven days (Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring) and the current season shown in the HUD.
    • All spawn data across Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova was rebalanced for level scaling, horde hunting and EV training, and the Dex gained a Wild Locations tab with real encounter rates by time of day and season.
    • Monster Costumes arrived as event rewards: costumes pass down through breeding, and costumed monsters are listed on the GTL under their costume name.
    For buyers

    Costumed and event Shiny monsters are now distinct, breedable GTL listings, so Pokeyen value concentrates in event and costume stock and in the newly optimal horde and EV farming routes.

    Lunar New Year 2026

    • The Abundant Shrine co-op instance returned with a leaderboard and an exclusive Nian Hood for the Top 200 players, plus +10% money from trainers for the event.
    • Three permanent legendary raid dens were added across Unova, and move data moved to Gen9a-1 with a large learnset and TM changeset.

    Xmas 2025

    • Lost Presents and Holiday Swarms with a +15% wild Shiny rate, 12 Xmas Raids for Wish Tags, running to January 8; a permanent legendary raid den was added in Anville Town.
    • PC Trading arrived in healing centers, and the GTL price cap for individual stackable non-event items rose from 20,000,000 to 50,000,000.
