Tibia Patch Notes History

CipSoft ships two major updates a year, a summer update and a winter update, with smaller patches in between. The current major version is 15.30 (Summer Update 2026); the Winter Update 2026 is next. Every major update below has a short summary, what it means for buyers where it matters, and links to the official notes.

    Summer Update 2026

    • The Make Believe Quest ends in what CipSoft calls the toughest boss fights in the game's 29-year history, backed by a new Boss Difficulty System with scalable difficulty, a practice mode and a Phosphorus Record highscore.
    • The bosses drop the new best-in-slot Moonsilver equipment set, and the update also adds the Shards of a Broken Moon Quest with the Asura Citadel hunting ground, plus Echo Raids that can turn creatures into charm-point-granting echoes.
    • Weapon Proficiency was extended so players can customize two perk slots per weapon, and the Discovery System now activates subareas automatically and grants movement-speed bonuses for fully explored areas.

    A new best-in-slot set behind the hardest bosses in the game is when geared high-level characters and gold change hands fastest.

    Winter Update 2025

    • The Order of the Stag Quest continues the Etzel bloodline storyline in a new Falcon Bastion-tier area, while The Roost of the Graveborn Quest offers a Soul War-tier boss challenge for players level 450 and up.
    • Hunting Tasks were reworked into the new Bounty Tasks system: a Task Board handing out Bounty Points and Reroll Tokens for a Bounty Talisman, plus up to 18 Weekly Tasks.
    • Quality-of-life additions included a spell-opacity settings menu, a Multi-Action Button and click-to-apply object targeting.

    Summer Update 2025

    • The update introduced the Weapon Proficiency system: weapons gain their own levels and perk trees, over 400 skill trees in total, with base critical values standardized.
    • New quests included Bloody Tusks (level 250+) and Between the Lines, set in a world made of books.
    • Imbuing was reworked to a 100% success rate with tradeable imbuement scrolls, and special conditions are now shown beside health arcs.

    Monk Vocation Update

    • The Monk became Tibia's fifth vocation, the first new one since the game launched in 1997: a fist-fighting melee combatant built around Harmony, Virtues, Serenity and Mantra mechanics, with healing and support abilities.
    • The update shipped with new spells, Dedication and Revelation perks, Monk equipment for every slot and new areas, plus an Experimental Aiming Mode for directional spells available to all vocations.
