What the Terms Say
As flagged in the badge: no terms clause naming account sales or boosting for Heroes of the Storm was verified in the material checked for this guide, and none is quoted. What the verified pages do state, in the vendors’ own words, is how each product is delivered — and delivery is where the risk lives in this market.
Accounts are a credential transfer by nature: PlayerAuctions’ accounts page confirms the buyer receives the game account information and finalises an ownership transfer under escrow, with listings pitched on hero and skin rosters — Portraits, Sprays, Banners, Emojis, Voice Lines, Announcer Packs and mounts among the cosmetics its copy names — and ranked history. Boosting is the other shape entirely: the booster does not transfer anything to you, they log in as you. Its page’s words are “Account Training”, and they mean your login details, handed over.
The Official Routes
Officially, everything in Heroes of the Storm is earned or bought inside the game on your own Battle.net account — there is no official account or boosting market, and no currency product to top up. The game’s status is the news here: it entered maintenance mode on July 8, 2022, then Blizzard shipped Patch 57 (v2.57.0) on September 28, 2026, headlined by Xal’atath, Harbinger of the Void — the 91st hero and the first new hero since Hogger in December 2020 — announced at BlizzCon 2026. One patch is not yet a proven cadence, a caveat this guide keeps. The verified third-party shelves are PlayerAuctions’ accounts (2 offers at our check, Instant and 1 Hour delivery shown, with the page’s reviews naming ranked NA accounts) and its boosting category, which carries the LOGIN flag above. A claimed FunPay leg could not be surfaced in this pass and is not presented as a vendor.
What Can Go Wrong
- Boosting is LOGIN delivery — flagged in full. Account Training means a PowerLeveler plays on your account with your login details. That hands a stranger the Battle.net account that holds your other Blizzard games, your friends list and your payment history, for the length of the boost — for a product whose entire value is a rank badge.
- Two offers is not a market. The accounts shelf listed 2 offers at our check, and crawls of the same page have shown 2, 3, 5 and 9. With that little stock, pricing is whatever the two sellers say, and the roster or rank you want may simply not be listed.
- Account value is the roster, and rosters are screenshot-cheap. Hero and skin collections, ranked history and cosmetics are the price. Verify them in game — hero roster, skin and mount collections, ranked standing — before escrow releases, not from listing images.
- Maintenance history cuts both ways. Patch 57 is a genuine revival signal, but it follows a maintenance period that began in 2022, and Blizzard has only teased further content. Price an account for the game as it stands, not for a promised cadence.
Red Flags to Avoid
- “Heroes of the Storm gold” or “gem delivery” offers — no currency market or transfer product exists for this game.
- Boosting presented without the login requirement named — Account Training is the documented method, and it needs your credentials.
- Account prices justified by a “revived game premium” off a single patch.
- Rosters shown only in screenshots the seller will not verify in game.
- Sellers who push the deal off PlayerAuctions’ escrow.
Buying Checklist
- Decide which product you are actually buying: an account (a credential transfer, verified in game before escrow releases) or a boost (your login, handed to a PowerLeveler — only buy if you accept exactly that).
- For accounts: verify the hero roster, skin and mount collections and ranked history in game, and take the full Battle.net credential transfer at handover, changing passwords the same day.
- For boosting: read the delivery line first — if it says Account Training, it is LOGIN delivery, whatever the listing headline calls it.
- Benchmark against a shelf of 2 offers honestly: there is no deep market to discipline these prices.
- Keep payment inside PlayerGuardian escrow and keep the order records.
The Safe Alternatives
The roster is earnable hero by hero on your own account, and Patch 57 gives returning players a live reason to climb themselves — our leveling guide covers the climb and the farming guide the earnable side. An account you built carries no transfer risk and no stranger’s recovery path. See the Heroes of the Storm page for the reviewed market.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you buy Heroes of the Storm currency?
No — there is no currency market for this game. No traded gold or gem product exists among the verified wires. What is sold is whole accounts, and boosting. Anyone offering “Heroes of the Storm gold delivery” is offering a product this market does not contain.
Is Heroes of the Storm boosting login delivery?
Yes — flagged in full. PlayerAuctions’ own boosting copy says the most common delivery method is Account Training, where you provide your account login details to a PowerLeveler who plays on your account for you. Buy it only if you are comfortable handing over your Battle.net login.
How many Heroes of the Storm accounts are for sale?
PlayerAuctions listed just 2 account offers at our October 2026 check, under PlayerGuardian escrow, with Instant and 1 Hour delivery shown and reviews naming ranked NA accounts. Crawls of the same page have shown 2, 3, 5 and 9 offers — a thin shelf in every reading.
Is Heroes of the Storm still in maintenance mode?
It was — from July 8, 2022 — until Blizzard shipped Patch 57 (v2.57.0) on September 28, 2026, adding Xal’atath, the 91st hero and the first new hero since Hogger in December 2020, announced at BlizzCon 2026. One patch is not yet a proven cadence, and this guide prices accounts accordingly.
