KetraWars Server Profile

KetraWars is a long-running Lineage 2 server project, active since 2015, that has launched well over 100 seasonal servers across the Interlude and Essence chronicles. Recent seasons lean on an adena-based economy where most items are bought with in-game currency rather than real money.

Wipe & Reset History

KetraWars has been live since June 2014. Rather than wiping existing servers, the project has periodically launched new rate-tier servers alongside them (e.g. a 100x server in 2016, a 1x server in 2018, later a 1200x server) rather than resetting the ones already running.

Wipe and fresh-server announcements for KetraWars are posted on ketrawars.net first.

Getting Started on KetraWars

KetraWars runs Interlude / Essence (launched 2015). Joining takes three steps; where ketrawars.net gives different instructions, follow those.

Visit the official site. Go to ketrawars.net to confirm the server is currently active and find the current client or launcher download.

Download the client or launcher. Get the KetraWars client or launcher from the download linked on ketrawars.net, not from a third-party mirror or an old Lineage 2 retail install.

Create an account and log in. Make the account on ketrawars.net with a password you use nowhere else. A community-run server does not have an official publisher’s account-recovery or security team behind it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe and legal to play on a private server?

KetraWars is an unofficial Lineage 2 server running Interlude / Essence, and like most private servers it operates without a license from the game’s publisher. KetraWars has been running long enough to build a track record; as with any private server, use a unique password and don't reuse account credentials from other sites.

How do I get started on KetraWars?

Visit the official website at https://ketrawars.net/ for the current client download and setup instructions. Use the client or launcher linked there rather than a retail Lineage 2 install.
