L2Dex Server Profile

L2Dex runs the Interlude chronicle of Lineage 2 across several rate tiers, from a slower x1 pace up to a faster x100 option, aimed at players who want the classic L2 siege-and-clan-war experience without committing to a years-long low-rate grind.

Wipe & Reset History

L2Dex runs on a seasonal model where individual worlds reset every 5-6 months, but each season merges into a permanent "Union" realm rather than being deleted, so progress carries forward. The project self-reports running without a full wipe for 6+ years.

Wipe and fresh-server announcements for L2Dex are posted on lineage2dex.com first.

Getting Started on L2Dex

L2Dex runs Interlude, x1-x100 (launched Ongoing). Joining takes three steps; where lineage2dex.com gives different instructions, follow those.

Visit the official site. Go to lineage2dex.com to confirm the server is currently active and find the current client or launcher download.

Download the client or launcher. Get the L2Dex client or launcher from the download linked on lineage2dex.com, not from a third-party mirror or an old Lineage 2 retail install.

Create an account and log in. Make the account on lineage2dex.com with a password you use nowhere else. A community-run server does not have an official publisher’s account-recovery or security team behind it.

Is it safe and legal to play on a private server?

L2Dex is an unofficial Lineage 2 server running Interlude, x1-x100, and like most private servers it operates without a license from the game’s publisher. L2Dex has been running long enough to build a track record; as with any private server, use a unique password and don't reuse account credentials from other sites.

How do I get started on L2Dex?

Visit the official website at https://lineage2dex.com/ for the current client download and setup instructions. Use the client or launcher linked there rather than a retail Lineage 2 install.
