Key points

  • Sandbox Interactive banned 20,673 Albion Online accounts between September 1 and 30, 2026.
  • The bans cover botting, real-money trading, cheating and other breaches of the Terms of Service. The report does not split them by reason.
  • As reported by GoHa.ru, the monthly totals were 12,168 in June, 12,213 in July, 20,285 in August and 20,673 in September.

The numbers

Albion Online’s developer posts a monthly bots, bans and account security update on its official forum. The September post covers September 1 to 30 and lists 20,673 banned accounts, according to both GoHa.ru and the Polish site MMORPG.org.pl, which links the official thread. The bans cover botting, real-money trading, cheating and other Terms of Service violations as one total.

GoHa.ru also listed the previous months: 12,168 in June and 12,213 in July, then a jump to 20,285 in August that held in September. Neither outlet gives a reason for the increase, and the totals are not broken down by type of offense.

What Albion’s rules say

Albion has an official way to turn real money into silver: Gold bought from Sandbox Interactive can be sold for silver on the in-game Gold Market. Buying silver or items from third parties is against the game’s terms, and Sandbox has published bans for “third-party currency transactions” in past reports. The game’s world is full-loot, so silver and gear change hands constantly, which is what makes bot farming and resale attractive in the first place.

What it means for buyers

A report that does not separate bots from buyers does not tell you how often buyers specifically get caught, but it does show that Sandbox is banning at a higher rate than it was in the summer. The legitimate route is the Gold Market, where Gold bought from Sandbox sells for silver at the going rate. If you compare that with third-party silver, see the Albion Online page for rated sellers, and read how gold farming works to understand where cheap silver usually comes from.
