Key points

  • Zenith’s servers — the paid Last City world and the free Nexus / Infinite Realms modes — go offline permanently on December 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM PST; Ramen VR announced the closure on October 21.
  • Sales of The Last City DLC and of Zennies premium currency ended the day of the announcement, on all platforms; unspent Zennies stay usable in game until shutdown, with no refund policy stated.
  • No offline version or community servers are planned. The free client stays downloadable until November 18, 2026; existing players keep access until December 18.
  • The game had been in maintenance mode since development ended in 2024; Ramen VR says it can no longer run the servers at a loss.

The announcement

Ramen VR’s closure notice, posted October 21, sets the end plainly: Zenith’s servers go offline on December 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM PST, for the paid Zenith: The Last City and the free Zenith: Nexus / Infinite Realms modes alike. The studio is equally plain about why — the game has been in maintenance mode since development ended in 2024, and it can no longer run the servers at a loss. Asked whether an offline version or community servers will follow, its FAQ answers: “No, not at this time.”

Sales stopped the same day

The storefront closed before the servers do. Sales of The Last City DLC and of Zennies, the game’s premium currency, ended on all platforms on October 21, the day of the announcement. Unspent Zennies remain usable in game until the shutdown, and Ramen VR states no refund policy for them — if you hold a balance, the only way to get its value is to spend it in game before December 18. New players can still download the free client until November 18, and everyone who has the game keeps access until the servers close.

What it means for buyers

Sunset math is the whole story here: a Zenith account’s value now has a printed expiry date, and it is eight weeks out. Accounts, Zennies and boosting for a game in its final weeks are worth only the playtime left in them — which is why our Zenith page carries no seller listings at all. If a marketplace is still presenting Zenith stock as an ordinary purchase, it is selling a December 18 expiry at a going-concern price.

What it means for buyers

There is no reviewed Zenith market to buy from, by design: the publisher’s own store stopped selling on October 21, and every account in existence expires with the servers on December 18. Spend any Zennies you already hold in game, and let anyone else’s listing expire unsold.
