Lineage 2 Patch Notes History

Lineage II NA runs several parallel variants (Live, Aden, Wolf, Samurai and Classic) that receive coordinated seasonal updates a few times a year, usually mixing class additions, new hunting zones and server-wide activities. As of October 2026 the current content beat is the summer 2026 Server War update.   1. Summer 2026 UpdateLatest

    Server War: Dimensional Clash

    • A weekly Server War activity runs on the Aden, Wolf and Samurai servers, where players earn server points in the new Citadel of Darkness timed hunting zone and by fighting the Dark Legion's Invasion field raid.
    • The Live servers received class changes, agathion charm adjustments and two new party instances.
    • Classic received two new hunting zones and a new Iron Heart's Fortress PvP zone.

  2. Samurai Crow

    Samurai Crow

    • A new Kamael sword class, Samurai Crow, launched simultaneously worldwide on the Live, Aden and Wolf servers alongside a fresh Crow server.
    • The update also added the cross-server Global Arena, mass field-boss spawns and scheduled Hot Time PvP windows.

  3. August 2025 Update

    Wolf Waker & Rose Vain

    • Live introduced the feral Wolf Waker class and a new field boss, while Wolf and Aden introduced the Rose Vain class plus support-class updates.
    • Classic opened a new Hellbound Island hunting zone in Steel Citadel and gained a new cosmetic system.

    Project Wolf

    • Introduced the Varkas class, which builds wolf points to transform into a werewolf, and a new beginner-friendly Wolf server based on the Aden ruleset with simplified mechanics and faster rewards.
    • Also added the 50-player Water Dragon Raid, the Sanctum of Spirits elemental boss zone, the Crumahum Outpost daily hunting zone and the Sunday Dark Legion Annihilation event at Giran Castle.
