Marvel Contest of Champions Patch Notes History

59.0LatestOctober 5, 2026
Closer to the Edge + Summoner’s Choice 2026
- Build 59.0 went live October 5, 2026: new Champions Carina Tivan, Colossus (Age of Apocalypse, the Summoner’s Choice 2026 winner, available October 15) and Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes, October 29), plus a new Epilogue boss, the Chronoserpent.
- The Event Quest 'Closer to the Edge' runs October 7 to November 4, and the Summoner’s Choice 2026 vote (a Spider-Verse Champion this year) opened October 9, with the winner announced November 2.
- A 59.0.1 hotfix followed on October 14; Kabam ships a near-monthly build in the first week of each month (58.0 on August 4, 58.1 on September 8).
For buyers
Account value is roster value: each monthly build adds Champions that only exist at high rarity on older accounts, and Summoner’s Choice winners arrive once. Kabam’s enforcement is the other pricing factor — accounts loaded with third-party 'discount Units' carry documented ban risk (the 2018 bans; the June 2025 wave).
