WARDOGS Patch Notes History

WARDOGS is Bulkhead's 100-player all-out-warfare FPS for PC (Steam Early Access, September 2026): three factions fight over Control Zones on 256 km² maps with infantry, armour and helicopters. Cash, earned in matches and spent on loadouts at the Equipment Vendor, is the working currency; Gold Bars are the permanent cosmetic currency it converts into at each seasonal wipe. Every major update below has a short summary, what it means for buyers where it matters, and links to the official notes.

    Season 2

    • Season 2 adds four weapons (TCX-SPR, PP-19 Bizon, Evo-3 Ultra, M14) plus the Molotov, four vehicles including the T-72B3 tank and Flakpanzer Gepard AA, three buildables, and a rain weather preset with server-synced thunder.
    • The first seasonal wipe reset Cash, Wardog level and role XP; leftover Cash converted into Gold Bars, and eight new Gold Market camos were added. The experimental Wager Vendor appears in the notes but did not open at launch.
    • A balance and economy pass cut base damage on four calibres (up to -25% on .308 Winchester), reduced Level 3/4 armour values, more than halved the XP needed to reach role level 20, and reworked logistics payouts with delivery streaks.
    For buyers

Cash is wiped every season and converts to Gold Bars, so farmed balances have a built-in expiry; Bulkhead has also stated in-game currency will never be sold, which is why no official top-up exists for this game.

    Exploit Fixes & RMT Enforcement

    • Cash and XP exploit fixes: revive checks made fully server-authoritative, a vehicle fly-through exploit fixed and its rewards capped, and payouts for buildables and FOB pallet deposits rebalanced; the WD-L020 crashes from Windows 11 update KB5124010 were fixed.
    • The notes state players caught abusing cash/XP exploits or real-money trading had their cash and progression reset, that the launch leniency period was over, and that repeatable exploit abuse now risks a permanent ban without warning. A new Deploy flow and server-browser improvements shipped alongside.

    Economy Abuse Policy

    • The server browser was split into separate Community and Official listings; community server IDs now persist between matches and restarts, with text search and a show-empty/full toggle added.
    • Bulkhead published its three-tier Economy Abuse Policy: cash-exploit abuse earns a timed ban plus a full cash/XP reset; teaching exploits without reporting them is treated as advertising cheats (permanent ban); XP farming on tracked servers is a permanent ban.
