Season 9Released

Vampires vs Werewolves

  • Season 9, “Vampires vs Werewolves”, launched October 14, 2026 at 5 PM PT (Activision’s Call of Duty blog post of October 7): the game’s first community-voted season — players chose the theme and voted on designs for Battle Pass Operator Skins and Weapon Blueprints, with Minotaur – Pack Commander and Sparrowhawk – Moonlight Vengeance among the winners.
  • New Multiplayer mode Leader’s Kill Confirmed: one player per team is a mech-equipped Leader visible to both sides; killing them drops a high-value dog tag and passes the role to a teammate, while regular Operators gain special abilities during the match. The Fang Wars faction event lets players pick Vampires or Werewolves for faction rewards — the SO-14 – Moonlit Marksman or the Type 25 – Lone Wolf — with a Gold Calling Card to the winning faction.
  • The new Grav Assault Rifle headlines the Battle Pass, and a separate “Call of the Dead” Día de Muertos event pays out Howlbones currency toward the K-9 Unit – Fantasma Operator Skill skin. Seasons are monthly — Season 8 launched September 9, 2026.

CoD Mobile accounts are priced on their skin and blueprint libraries, and a voted Battle Pass is a fixed window: the Season 9 skins and the Fantasma Operator Skill skin are only earnable while the season runs, after which they exist only on accounts that were there.
