Epoch Operation: Taubound + Riven Disposition retired
- Epoch Operation: Taubound (October 15 to November 17, 2026, one time only, no reruns): a community-wide event opening a path to the Tau System with the Sentient Mothership Praghasa. Play missions on Eris to collect Moonflesh and trade it to Praghasa for rewards, including the Contegorus Armor Set, Vacis Amp Skin, Dhampyre Syandana and a Legendary Core. All Tenno who completed Vor’s Prize can access Eris for the event; the separate permanent Tau Prologue Quest in the Codex needs The Hex and The Old Peace.
- Hotfix 44.1.3 (October 22, 2026) retired the Riven Disposition system outright: every Riven’s stats are normalized to the equivalent of a 1.2 Disposition, and every future weapon launches at 1.2. Riven trading froze ahead of the change and repriced in a single step once it landed.
- The same hotfix caps Ammo Efficiency at 75%, and every player who logs in by December 31 receives 1 Built Forma and 100,000 Kuva by inbox.
Taubound rewards are earned by playing Eris missions, not bought — and Praghasa’s unique dialogue is only available before November 17. Separately, a decade of Riven pricing was built on Disposition, and that input is gone: re-check any Riven’s value before buying, and treat launch-week prices as unsettled.

How Trading Works in Warframe
- Market
- None (player trades only)
- Direct trade
- Yes, Dojo or Maroo's Bazaar
- No
- You need Mastery Rank 2 and two-factor authentication to trade.
- You get one trade a day per Mastery Rank.
Platinum and items move only in a trade window in a Clan Dojo or Maroo's Bazaar, which costs credits as a trade tax.
Whatever the method, a seller never needs your password or a 2FA code to deliver currency. Anyone who asks for them is asking for your account.

Warframe Platinum: What Digital Extremes Says
Platinum is Warframe's premium currency, and it is unusual because players can also earn it entirely in game by trading. That gives the game two legitimate routes to platinum, and a third-party market that Digital Extremes says it does not recognize.
How platinum works
Platinum buys inventory slots, reactors and catalysts, cosmetics and other convenience items. It can be bought from Digital Extremes (through its store or Steam) or earned by selling items — commonly Prime parts from Void Relics — to other players. Trading requires two-factor authentication and a minimum Mastery Rank, and daily trade limits apply. Our Warframe platinum farming guide explains the trading loop.
What the Terms of Use say
Warframe's Terms of Use state that accounts are personal to you and cannot be transferred: you may not purchase, sell, gift or trade any account, or offer to. They also state that platinum is non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash and has no monetary value. Digital Extremes' support guidance on safe trading is reported to say that sellers offering discounted platinum are not legitimate, pointing players to its official purchase page.
What that means in practice
The system is designed so that platinum bought from the developer can be spent or traded to others in game, but platinum obtained from third-party sellers has no protected origin. Players report bans where the platinum used in a trade was bad or fraudulent, and there is no way to reverse a trade if a deal goes wrong. Account trading is treated more strictly still.
Common failure modes
- Bad platinum. Platinum from fraudulent purchases can be removed and the accounts that received it actioned.
- Account sales. The terms make attempted account sales null and void, and distributing your login credentials can lead to suspension or termination.
- No reversals. Trades in game cannot be undone by support.
Ways to get platinum safely
Buy it from Digital Extremes, or earn it: farm relics, sell the parts you do not need, and reinvest. Our leveling guide covers progression and the Currency Calculator shows what an hour of farming is worth.
If you decide to buy from a third party
We cannot make a purchase compliant with the Terms of Use, and we don't encourage breaking them. If you go ahead, never share your login, use two-factor authentication, choose a payment with dispute rights and read our Warframe buying guide and safety guides.

This page lists 14 reviewed sellers for Warframe, and each one has its own MMODude review covering delivery speed, customer support, pricing and trust. The highest-rated is BlazingBoost at 4.6/5. 1v9.gg, AccountWarehouse, BoostRoom and Boosthive score under 4.0 and carry a Caution label, so read their reviews before ordering. This page lists 4 platinum sellers, 6 account sellers and 5 boosting services. Platinum sellers offer discounted premium currency delivered via in-game trade. Account sellers sell accounts with rare Prime frames, weapons or high Mastery Rank already unlocked. Boosting services have a player carry you through content such as Steel Path missions, Archon Hunts or Sortie completion on your own account.
