MMO Calendar: Upcoming Launches, Updates and Closures

Every date on this page is one MMODude already tracks, from its release calendar, patch tracking or a game’s own page — no new dates are invented here. Confirmed dates carry their publisher source; targets carry the word Target; and the one date everyone asks about that nobody has confirmed sits in its own section, labelled unconfirmed, because guessing it would be worse than leaving it blank.

Upcoming Dates

No Confirmed Date Yet

When HoYoverse confirms a 7.2 date, it moves into the dated list above. Until then, any site printing a firm 7.2 date is printing a cycle estimate as if it were an announcement.

How This Calendar Relates to the Release Calendar

This page is the dated view: launches, updates and closures in order. The release calendar is the fuller view, with season clocks, recently launched games and shutdown history; the upcoming patches page carries confirmed patch dates and MMODude’s re-check watch list. All three draw on the same publisher announcements, and a date that passes moves into the relevant game’s patch history.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do these dates come from?

From publisher announcements, roadmaps and official patch notes that MMODude already tracks on its release calendar, patch pages and game pages. Each entry names its source.

Why is Genshin 7.2 not dated?

Because HoYoverse has not confirmed a date. The 42-day version cycle puts 7.2 around November 4, but that is an estimate from the cycle, not an announcement, and this page labels it as such.

What happens when a date passes?

The event moves into that game’s patch history with a summary of what changed, and this page updates on the next build.
